Liberation Transmission
''Liberation Transmission'' is the third studio album by Welsh rock band Lostprophets, released on 26 June 2006 by Visible Noise. Recording This is the first Lostprophets album recorded without original drummer Mike Chiplin. Josh Freese drummed at the request of Bob Rock, but the band's first choice was Travis Barker. Ilan Rubin also played drums for the songs "Everybody's Screaming!!!" and "For All These Times Son, for All These Times". Release "Rooftops (A Liberation Broadcast)" was released to American radio on 16 May 2006. On 13 June, "For All These Times Son, For All These Times" was made available for streaming via the band's Myspace profile. On 25 June, the album was made available for streaming via ''Alternative Press'', and was a day later through Columbia. From late August to mid October, the band went on a headlining tour of the US with support from Kill Hannah, the Rasmus and Eighteen Visions. Lostprophets
Lostprophets (stylised as lostprophets or LOSTPROPHETS) were a Welsh rock band from Pontypridd, formed in 1997 by singer Ian Watkins and guitarist Lee Gaze. The group was founded after their former band Fleshbind broke up. They later recruited Mike Lewis on guitars, Stuart Richardson on bass and Mike Chiplin on drums. Lostprophets released five studio albums: '' The Fake Sound of Progress'' (2000), '' Start Something'' (2004), '' Liberation Transmission'' (2006), '' The Betrayed'' (2010), and ''Weapons'' (2012). They sold 3.5 million albums worldwide, achieving two top-ten singles on the UK Singles Chart (" Last Train Home" and " Rooftops"), a No. 1 single on the US Alternative Songs chart ("Last Train Home"), and several ''Kerrang!'' "Can't Catch Tomorrow (Good Shoes Won't Save You This Time)" is the third single from the album ''Liberation Transmission'', the third studio album by Welsh rock band Lostprophets. It entered the UK singles chart at 35, the lowest position yet for a single from ''Liberation Transmission''. The band worked with Ryan Smith on the music video for this song. The video was filmed in Los Angeles and is inspired by the 1970s mod film ''Quadrophenia' The shoes on the cover art are derived from a competition where fans were asked to take Polaroid pictures of their shoes. The winning submissions made the cover. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States. Its members consist of record labels and distributors that the RIAA says "create, manufacture, and/or distribute approximately 85% of all legally sold recorded music in the United States". This Is Hell is an American hardcore punk band from Long Island, New York. The band is known for extensive touring and high energy concerts. They have released five studio albums and five Extended play, EPs. History Early days and formation (2004) This Is Hell formed in June 2004 when Long Island musicians and members of The Backup Plan, Scraps and Heart Attacks, and Subterfuge got together after their previous bands broke up. The name of the band was originally the title of an Brutal Youth (Elvis Costello album), Elvis Costello song. The band quickly released a four-song This Is Hell Demo, self titled demo EP which was later pressed onto vinyl via Boston label Run for Cover Records and in Europe via Broken Glasses Records. Take The Crown (band)
Take the Crown was an American post-hardcore band from Huntington Beach, California. The original lineup included vocalist Beau Bokan, guitarist Nick Coffey, guitarist Tony Gonzalez, bassist James Campbell, and keyboardist Ryan Wilson. The band began recording demos in 2004 with friend Chris Sorenson of Saosin; he would later produce their self-released debut EP, ''Let the Games Begin'', in 2006. The band signed to Rise in 2007 and released their follow up full-length album, ''Relapse React'', in May 2008. Eighteen Visions is an American metalcore band from Orange County, California, formed in October 1995. The band broke up in April 2007, less than a year after their major label debut was released through Epic and Trustkill Records. After over a decade of absence, the band reformed in 2017. They announced their sixth album, '' XVIII'', would be released via their new label home at Rise Records. The Rasmus is a Finnish Pop music, rock band that formed in 1994 in Helsinki while the band members were in upper comprehensive school.Main source of the band's history: The original band members were Lauri Ylönen (founder, frontman, lead singer-songwriter), Eero Heinonen (bass), Pauli Rantasalmi (guitar) and Jarno Lahti (drums). Kill Hannah
Kill Hannah was an American rock band formed in 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. The band released six studio albums, seven EPs, and two compilation albums as well as three DVDs. History Kill Hannah was formed by singer-songwriter Mat Devine in 1993. The band is named after Devine's ex-girlfriend. At the time, Devine was singing and playing guitar in a band called In a Jar UK. After the fallout with Hannah, Devine printed up stickers to place on In a Jar UK 7" records bearing the name "Kill Hannah." Ilan Rubin
Ilan Rubin (born July 7, 1988) is an American musician, producer, songwriter, composer, and artist. He is known primarily for playing drums with bands such as Nine Inch Nails, Paramore, Lostprophets, Angels & Airwaves and Danny Elfman. In 2008, he formed The New Regime, where he sings and plays all instruments in the studio and plays guitar with a band for live performances. In 2021, Ilan released music for the first time under his name. His debut single "Talk Talk Talk" was remixed by Phantogram. Travis Landon Barker (born November 14, 1975) is an American musician, songwriter, and music producer who is the drummer for the rock band Blink-182. He has collaborated with hip hop artists, is a member of the rap rock group Transplants, co-founded the rock band +44, and has also joined Box Car Racer, Antemasque and Goldfinger.
