Lex-XX
''Lex-XX'' is a compilation of remixes issued by Lex Records in 2021 and 2022 to mark the label's twentieth anniversary. ''Lex-XX'' is the third compilation on the label, following ''Lexoleum'' (2001-2003) and ''Complex'' (2011-2012) each released approximately a decade apart. Each track from ''Lex-XX'' has unique artwork created by Commission Studio and Faux Mec. Artwork for each Track shows a digitally rendered object on a grid. The artwork for the "Gazzillion Ear" remix shows an illustration of a "handful of crystals and USB stick that DOOM used to deliver demos to Lex". Background The first Lex-XX remix released was King Krule's remix of Eyedress' sleeper hit track "Jealous". Eyedress
Idris Vicuña (born May 28, 1990), known professionally as Eyedress, is a Filipino singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Early life Eyedress was raised in an area in the Philippines which he described as "ghetto", and began playing the guitar at a young age. He and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he was introduced to punk music through the "gangsters" and "anarchist types" in his neighborhood. At age 13, he and his family moved to California after his father, an animator, started working with 20th Century Fox. While living in Orange County, California, he joined the crust punk band Liberal Underground as a bassist. He moved back to the Philippines at age 15 with his family. Lex Records is a British independent record label based in Camden, London, England. Style Lex has a varied musical output. Most releases are alternative hip hop, alternative rock or electronic. Kaleida are an English-German duo formed in 2013. The band consists of vocalist Christina Wood and keyboardist Cicely Goulder. Nevermen is an American music group. It consists of Tunde Adebimpe, Mike Patton, and Adam " Doseone" Drucker. It was listed by ''Paste'' as one of the "20 Best New Bands of 2015". History Nevermen was formed in 2008, when Adam " Doseone" Drucker jammed with Tunde Adebimpe in a Brooklyn warehouse. Later, the two sent some of the music to Mike Patton. In books and other works, the subtitle is an explanatory title added by the author to the title proper of a work.
