Eyedress
Idris Vicuña (born May 28, 1990), known professionally as Eyedress, is a Filipino singer-songwriter, rapper, and record producer. Early life Eyedress was raised in an area in the Philippines which he described as "ghetto", and began playing the guitar at a young age. He and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he was introduced to punk music through the "gangsters" and "anarchist types" in his neighborhood. At age 13, he and his family moved to California after his father, an animator, started working with 20th Century Fox. While living in Orange County, California, he joined the crust punk band Liberal Underground as a bassist. He moved back to the Philippines at age 15 with his family. Before starting his career as a musician, he designed clothing for a brief period of time and, at age 20, he started composing music by making beats on his laptop and releasing them for free online. Lex Records is a British independent record label based in Camden, London, England. Style Lex has a varied musical output. Most releases are alternative hip hop, alternative rock or electronic. ''Mulholland Drive'' is the fourth studio album by Filipino singer-songwriter Eyedress, released on August 27, 2021, through Lex Records. Unlike previous Eyedress albums ''Mulholland Drive'' features guest producers and artists on the majority of the tracks. The album sleeve was created by design collective Brain Dead. ''Mulholland Drive'' includes a track named "Brain Dead". Eyedress held a launch party for ''Mulholland Drive'' at the Brain Dead Studios on August 23, a movie theatre in the Fairfax District, Los Angeles, and also used the same location to film a video for the track "Chad An Gordy". To promote the album Eyedress appeared on the cover the July 2021 issue of ''Alternative Press Magazine'' and co-hosted the '' Travis Mills Show'' on Apple Music 1 on September 14, playing the whole album and talking through the album track by track. "Jealous" is a song by Filipino musician Eyedress, released on 6 December 2019 as a single from his album '' Let's Skip to the Wedding'' (2020). It first charted at number twenty four on the ''Billboard'' Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and number twenty three on the ''Billboard'' Hot Alternative Songs charts on the week of 20 February 2021, climbing to number fifteen on both charts the following week, and remaining in the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart for 20 weeks. It received multi-platinum certification from the RIAA for selling 2,000,000 equivalent units in the United States. The single was also certified gold in Australia and Poland and platinum in Canada. TikTok, known in China as Douyin (), is a short-form video hosting service owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. It hosts user-submitted videos, which can range in duration from 15 seconds to 10 minutes. TikTok is an international version of Douyin, which was released in the Chinese market in September 2016. It launched in 2017 for iOS and Android in most markets outside of mainland China; however, it became available worldwide only after merging with another Chinese social media service, Musical.ly, on 2 August 2018.
