''Let It Happen'' is a B-sides and rarities album by American punk rock band MxPx, released on November 10, 1998. Contents The songs on this compilation originally appeared on the ''17'' 7-inch, ''Punk Rawk Show'' 7-inch, ''Small Town Minds'' 7-inch, ''North American Punk Series Vol. 4'' split 7-inch with the McCrackins, ''I'm Your Biggest Fan vol. 1'' compilation, ''On the Cover'' double 10-inch, ''Teenage Politics'', ''Move to Bremerton'' EP, and ''Life In General'' pre-release teaser. Five of the songs had not been previously released: "Easier Said Than Done", "Important Enough to Mention", "Honest Answers", "Late Last Night" and "Biased Bigotry". The sound clip at the beginning of this version of "Chick Magnet" is from the film ''Mallrats''. The songs were all originally produced by either Bob Moon or Aaron Sprinkle. Pokinatcha is the debut studio album by American punk rock band MxPx released on October 26, 1994, through Tooth & Nail Records. The album reflects influence from skate/surf punk, and underground punk generally. The album's name came from a Snickers candy bar commercial, which included an ad jingle saying hunger is "poking at you". The songs are characterized by their raw punk sound, catchy rhythm, and classic punk three-chord guitar style. It is the only MxPx album to include original guitarist Andy Husted. Ritchie Valens
Richard Steven Valenzuela (May 13, 1941 – February 3, 1959), better known by his stage name Ritchie Valens, was an American guitarist, singer and songwriter. A rock and roll pioneer and a forefather of the Chicano rock movement, Valens died in a plane crash just eight months after his breakthrough. Valens had several hits, most notably " La Bamba", which he had adapted from a Mexican folk song. Valens transformed the song into one with a rock rhythm and beat, and it became a hit in 1958, making Valens a pioneer of the Spanish-speaking rock and roll movement. He also had an American number-two hit with " Donna". On February 3, 1959, on what has become known as " The Day the Music Died", Valens died in a plane crash in Iowa, an accident that also claimed the lives of fellow musicians Buddy Holly and J. P. "Donna" is a song written by Ritchie Valens, featuring the '50s progression. The song was released in 1958 on Del-Fi Records. Social Distortion is an American punk rock band formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California. It consists of Mike Ness (vocals, guitar), Jonny Wickersham (guitar), Brent Harding (bass), David Hidalgo Jr. (drums), and David Kalish (keyboards). Aaron Sprinkle
Aaron Sprinkle (born March 20, 1974) is an American record producer and musician from Seattle, Washington. Career His career in music began in high school with a group called BellBangVilla. BellBangVilla became Poor Old Lu and they released a number of albums (see below). Aaron Sprinkle also sang and played lead guitar in Rose Blossom Punch, and has produced albums independently. On his solo releases, he plays almost all instruments except drums. He produced dozens of records for Tooth & Nail Records between 1993 and 2016. In 2005, Sprinkle formed the band Fair with Joey Sanchez, Nick Barber, and Erick Newbill. Fair released its debut album ''The Best Worst-Case Scenario'' on Tooth & Nail Records in June 2006. He is the brother of drummer Jesse Sprinkle.
