Leigh Lezark
The Misshapes are a New York City-based DJ duo composed of DJs Leigh Lezark and Geordon Nicol. Previously the group consisted of Leigh Lezark, Geordon Nicol and Greg Krelenstein. Group history Night club years, 2003–2008 Leigh Lezark met Geordon Nicol and Greg Krelenstein at college, and in 2003 they formed The Misshapes. Beginning in 2004, the trio cultivated a large following when they brought the "Misshapes Dance Party" to downtown New York City. The name was taken from the title of a Pulp (band), Pulp song, "''Mis-Shapes''." The party was first hosted at 21 Seventh Avenue South in the West Village of New York City. Geordon and Leigh had to lie about their ages as well as falsify resumes to obtain access to the space at the time. Group's career With the help of Gawker, the party's popularity grew. Devonté Hynes (born David Joseph Michael Hynes, 23 December 1985), also known as Blood Orange and formerly Lightspeed Champion, is an English singer, songwriter, record producer, composer and director based in New York City. Jarvis Branson Cocker (born 19 September 1963) is an English musician. As the founder, frontman, lyricist and only consistent member of the band Pulp (band), Pulp, he became a reluctant figurehead of the Britpop genre of the mid-1990s. James Iha
(born March 26, 1968) is an American rock musician. He is best known as a guitarist and co-founder of the alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. He was a member until the band's initial breakup in 2000 and rejoined in 2018. Iha has also produced songs, contributed guitar, keyboards and vocals and produced remixes for a number of artists, including Midnight Movies, Isobel Campbell, Marilyn Manson, Whiskeytown, Scott Weiland and Michael Stipe. Hot Hot Heat was a Canadian indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, formed in 1999. The band was signed to Seattle label Sub Pop in 2001 and Warner Records throughout the majority of their career. The Horrors
The Horrors are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Southend-on-Sea in 2005 by lead vocalist Faris Badwan, guitarist Joshua Hayward, keyboardist and synthesizer player Tom Furse, bassist Rhys Webb, and drummer and percussionist Joe Spurgeon. Their music has been classified as garage rock, Garage punk (fusion genre), garage punk, gothic rock, shoegaze and post-punk revival. The band's current lineup includes all of the founding members bar Furse and Spurgeon, who have been inactive performing live since 2021 and 2024, respectively. Henry Holland (born 26 May 1983) is an English fashion designer, businessman and blogger from Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester. Gossip (or the Gossip) is an American indie rock band from Searcy, Arkansas, formed in 1999. For most of their career, the band has consisted of singer Beth Ditto, multi-instrumentalist Nathan "Brace Paine" Howdeshell, and drummer Hannah Blilie.
