Lee Hawkins
B. Lee Hawkins (born August 22, 1950) is an American dentist and politician from Gainesville, Georgia. He is a Republican. He is a member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing the 27th district, elected in 2012. The district covers most of north Hall County and parts of White and Forsyth counties. When he announced his candidacy, he described himself as having conservative values. Previously he served two terms in the Georgia State Senate, from 2006 to 2010. During his second term he chaired the State and Local Government Operations committee. In June 2010 he was one of two candidates, both Republicans, in a runoff special election for the 9th District seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Doug Collins (politician)
Douglas Allen Collins (born August 16, 1966) is an American lawyer and retired politician who served as the U.S. representative for Georgia's 9th congressional district from 2013 to 2021. A member of the Republican Party and a political supporter of former U.S. president Donald Trump, he previously served in the Georgia House of Representatives from 2007, representing the 27th district, which includes portions of Hall County, Lumpkin County, and White County. Collins also serves as a chaplain in the U.S. Air Force Reserve with the rank of lieutenant colonel. White County is a county located in the northeastern part of the U.S. state of Georgia. As of the 2020 census, the population was 28,003. The county seat is Cleveland. The county was created on December 22, 1857, formerly a part of Habersham County and most likely was named for Newton County Representative David T.
