Lars-Göran Jönsson
Lars-Göran Jönsson (; born 23 February 1951) is a Swedish former handball player. He was known for his hard shots. Raised in Karlskrona, he signed for IFK Kristianstad in 1973. In 1974–75, he helped the team reach the Swedish Championship final, where they were defeated by HK Drott. Jönsson, Bo Ahlberg and Lennarth Ebbinge were known as the "Wild West line" (''Vilda Västern-kedjan''), as a result of often shooting at the first opportunity. He played 115 matches and scored 582 goals for Kristianstad in the top division. He also played 73 matches for Sweden between 1975 and 1979, and participated in the 1978 World Championship. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. The sport is usually played indoors, but outdoor variants exist in the forms of field handball, Czech handball (which were more common in the past) and beach handball. IFK Karlskrona
IFK Karlskrona are a Swedish handball club based in Karlskrona. The club was founded in 1921. They won Allsvenskan in 1944–1945. They reached the final of the Swedish championship, at the time played as a straight knockout tournament, in 1940, 1944 and 1945, but were beaten each time by Majorna. They won Allsvenskan again in 1948–49, but were eliminated in the first round of the Swedish championship by Näsby IF. In 1952, the Swedish championship tournament was discontinued and the Swedish champions title was awarded to the winners of Allsvenskan. The club finished second in Allsvenskan in 1955–56; their fourth Swedish championship silver. They were relegated from Allsvenkan in 1961 and did not return until 1981. Karlskrona (, , ) is a locality and the seat of Karlskrona Municipality, Blekinge County, Sweden with a population of 66,675 in 2018. It is also the capital of Blekinge County. Bo Gunnar Lennart "Ebba" Ebbinge, normally just called Lennarth Ebbinge (; born 9 May 1956 in Kristianstad, Sweden) is a Swedish former handball player and coach, who played as right wing. Bo Ahlberg (; born 3 April 1951) is a Swedish former handball player. He played his entire elite career for IFK Kristianstad. Before elite he played for two lokal clubs KBI and Näsby IF. He holds the records for most appearances in IFK Kristianstad and most goals scored in the top division for IFK Kristianstad, as well as for most goals in all divisions for the club. He made his debut for the team in 1971. In 1974–75, he helped his team reach the Swedish Championship final, where they were beaten by HK Drott. In the following season 1975–76, Ahlberg was the top scorer of the league.
