Bo Ahlberg
Bo Ahlberg (; born 3 April 1951) is a Swedish former handball player. He played his entire elite career for IFK Kristianstad. Before elite he played for two lokal clubs KBI and Näsby IF. He holds the records for most appearances in IFK Kristianstad and most goals scored in the top division for IFK Kristianstad, as well as for most goals in all divisions for the club. He made his debut for the team in 1971. In 1974–75, he helped his team reach the Swedish Championship final, where they were beaten by HK Drott. In the following season 1975–76, Ahlberg was the top scorer of the league. Ahlberg, Lennarth Ebbinge and Lars-Göran Jönsson were known as the "Wild West line" (''Vilda Västern-kedjan''), as a result of often shooting at the first opportunity. Veszprém KC is a Hungarian handball club from Veszprém, that for sponsorship reasons is called Telekom Veszprém. Veszprém plays in the Hungarian Nemzeti Bajnokság I and are the most successful team in the country, having won the Hungarian Championship a record 26 times and the Hungarian Cup title a record 29 times. Veszprém has also won the regional SEHA League 4 times. Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Kristianstad (), or IFK Kristianstad, is a Swedish handball club based in Kristianstad. They play in Handbollsligan, the top level of Swedish men's handball. The club was founded in 1899 as a multi-sport club. The handball team made its debut in 1925 and has been the only section of the club since 2000. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. Handbollsligan ''(literally, "The Handball league")'' is the highest league in the league system of Swedish handball, and comprises the top 14 Swedish handball teams. The first season began in 1931–32. The season ends with a playoff. Structure The season starts in September with a regular season comprising 14 teams meeting each other twice. A total of 26 rounds. The eight best teams after the regular season qualifies for the play-off. The 14th team is relegated, and the 11th, 12th and 13th team plays matches against the second, third and fourth from Allsvenskan to qualify for next season's Handbollsligan. The season ends with the finals in the beginning of May and the winning team qualifies directly to EHF European League and the losing team qualifies for the EHF European Cup. The Swedish men's handball champions ( Swedish: ''Svenska mästare i handboll för herrar'') have been determined by three different competitions. From 1931–32 until 1951–52, the title was decided by a straight knockout tournament known as ''Svenska mästerskapet'' ("the Swedish Championship"). After 1934–35, it was played parallel to the highest league, Allsvenskan. The tournament was contested by the winners of the ''Distriktsmästerskap'' ("Provincial Championships") until 1945–46. HK Drott Halmstad is a handball club, based in Halmstad, Sweden. The club has won the Swedish Championship eleven times, last in 2013. Together with Redbergslids IK, HK Drott have dominated Swedish handball between 1984 and 2003. This club has had many famous players, among them Magnus Andersson, Ola Lindgren, Bengt Johansson and Göran Bengtsson. Lennarth Ebbinge (; born 9 May 1956) is a Swedish former handball player and coach, who played as a right wingman. He made his senior debut at second-tier team Näsby IF. In 1976 he signed for cross-town rivals IFK Kristianstad. In his first season with the club, he was the top goalscorer of Allsvenskan. Ebbinge, Bo Ahlberg and Lars-Göran Jönsson were known as the "Wild West line" (''Vilda Västern-kedjan''), as a result of often shooting at the first opportunity.
