Land Component Command
Land Component Command ( sv, Arméns taktiska stab, ATS) was a part of the Joint Forces Command of the Swedish Armed Forces. The staff was located at the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters in Stockholm. The Land Component Command commanded the operations of the Swedish Army. History The Land Component Command was established in 1994 under the name of the Army Tactical Center (''Arméns taktiska centrum'', ATC) which has its origin in the Army Staff which was disbanded on 30 June 1994 in connection with the Swedish Armed Forces becoming a single government agency on 1 July 1994. The Army Staff was partly replaced by the Army Command (''Arméledningen'') on 1 July 1994. The Army Command, which was part of the newly established Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters, was a production unit which sorted directly under the authority of the head of the agency, that is, the Supreme Commander. Lieutenant General Karl Åke Sagrén (26 January 1935 – 12 December 2022) was a Swedish Army officer. He was Chief of the Army from 1990 to 1994 and Chief of Army Command from 1994 to 1996. Early life Sagrén was born on 26 January 1935 in Motala, Sweden, the son of Karl Sagrén, an engineer, and his wife Annie (née Myrman). His father joined the Home Guard, the first day it was established and at the age of 15, Sagrén knew that he wanted to become an officer. Major General Nils Fredrik Adam Ståhlberg (born 24 August 1966) is a Swedish Army officer. He currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Joint Operations from 1 January 2023. Major General Berndt Karl Allan Grundevik (born 5 November 1956) is senior retired Swedish Army officer. Grundevik served as Inspector of the Army (2007–2012), as head of the Swedish Delegation to the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC) in Korea (2013–2015) and as Deputy Chief of Joint Operations (2016–2017). Lieutenant General Anders Reinhold Lindström (14 January 1955) is a retired Swedish Army officer. His senior commands include the Chief of Home Guard, the Chief of Joint Operations and the Commandant General in Stockholm. He retired from the military in 2011. Early life Lindström was born on 14 January 1955 in Borås, Sweden. His father, who came from Ådalen, started as a tailor apprentice and became designer in women's clothing.
