Austrian Latin America Institute
The Austrian Latin America Institute (''Österreichisches Lateinamerika-Institut'', LAI) is an interdisciplinary orientated organisation, aiming at intensifying dialogue and exchange between Austria and Latin America. It was founded as an association in 1965 and receives subsidies for its work in development politics as well as scientific and cultural events and projects. About half of the annual budget originates from its own resources, mainly language courses as well as membership fees. Lenzerheide
Lenzerheide ( Romansh: ''Lai'') is a mountain resort in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland at the foot of the Parpaner Rothorn. The village lies in the municipality Vaz/Obervaz in the district of Albula, sub-district Alvaschein. The village lies in a broadened section of the valley between the cantonal capital Chur to the north and Tiefencastel, beyond which are the Julier Pass and St Moritz. The high valley forms a pass of no official name, often referred to as Lenzerheide pass, with a culmination point located 5 km north of the village. The Lai languages or Pawih/Pawi languages are various Central Kuki-Chin-Mizo languages spoken by the Lai people or Pawi. Lai People
The Lai people (also referred to as the Pawi people in India) primarily inhabit the southern part of the Chin Hills in Myanmar’s Chin State, particularly in the townships of Falam, Thantlang, and Hakha. In India, they are also found in the Lawngtlai district of Mizoram, where they are governed by the Lai Autonomous District Council. Outside this region, they are scattered across Mizoram and parts of Manipur. Their languages— Lai holh and Hakha holh—are classified under Central Kuki-Chin languages. A depot injection, also known as a long-acting injectable (LAI), is a term for an injection formulation of a medication which releases slowly over time to permit less frequent administration of a medication. They are designed to increase medication adherence and consistency, especially in patients who commonly forget to take their medicine. Depot injections can be created by modifying the drug molecule itself, as in the case of prodrugs, or by modifying the way it is administered, as in the case of oil/lipid suspensions. Maria Lai (27 September 1919 – 16 April 2013) was an Italian artist from the island of Sardinia. Early life and education She was born in Ulassai, Nuoro, Sardinia, on 27 September 1919. Francis Albert Lai (; 26 April 19327 November 2018) was a French composer, noted for his film scores. He won the 1970 Oscar for Best Music, Original Score and the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Score for the film '' Love Story''.
