''Lahori Gate'' () was a 2007 Pakistani comedy drama serial. The series aired on PTV Home. The program starred Iftikhar Thakur, Sardar Kamal, Naseem Vicky, Abid Kashmiri, Waseem Abbas, Humaira Ali and Qavi Khan. The show was written by Waseem Abbas, who also acted in it. Waseem Abbas () is a Pakistani television, stage and film actor, screenwriter and director. PTV Home
PTV Home HD is a Pakistani free-to-air television channel owned by the Pakistan Television Corporation. It also broadcast as a Terrestrial television. History PTV Home started broadcasting on 26 November 1964 in West Pakistan and on 25 December 1964 in East Pakistan (the current Bangladesh). The broadcasts were limited to Lahore and Dacca at first (the Dhaka station would later become a part of Bangladesh Television upon Bangladesh's independence in 1971), before extending to Rawalpindi and Islamabad in 1965 and Karachi in 1966. The Lahore station moved from channel 9 to channel 5 in November 1968, increasing its power. Abid Kashmiri (; 4 May 1950 – 11 October 2024) was a Pakistani film, television and stage actor, known for his career as a comedian. He worked in Pakistani Urdu films and dramas as well as working in stage dramas. Life and career Kashmirir was born on 4 May 1950 in Lahore, Punjab. He was married and had two sons and two daughters. Qavi Khan
Muhammad Qavi Khan (; 13 November 1942 – 5 March 2023) was a Pakistani film, radio, theatre and television actor, director and playwright. Khan acted in over 200 films and some 1,000 television plays. Khan is best known for his police drama serial ''Andhera Ujala'', which launched him to stardom alongside his fellow actors Irfan Khoosat and Jameel Fakhri. Some of his other notable works in television include roles in '' Khaani'' (2017) and '' Meri Shehzadi'' (2022–2023). Inayat Hussain Bhatti (; 12 January 1928 – 31 May 1999) was a Pakistani film playback singer, film actor, producer, director, script writer, social worker, columnist, religious scholar and an active advocate of the development of the Punjabi language and literature. In a career spanning some 50 years, he acted in more than 300 movies, produced 30 as well and also directed some, while as a musician he provided approximately 350 songs for some 200 movies.
