''Drag Race Philippines'' is a Philippine reality competition television series. It is a spin-off of ''RuPaul's Drag Race''. The series is produced by World of Wonder and Fullhouse Asia Production Studios. The series airs on Discovery+ and HBO Go in the Philippines, Crave in Canada, and WOW Presents Plus in the rest of the world. The series premiered on 17 August 2022. The first season of ''Drag Race Philippines'' premiered on August 17, 2022. The cast was announced on July 27, 2022. The winner of the first season of ''Drag Race Philippines'' was Precious Paula Nicole, with Marina Summers as runners-up. Casting occurred in middle 2021 with production starting in early 2022. On July 12, 2022, actor, comedian, and drag queen Paolo Ballesteros was confirmed as the host and main judge. On July 20, 2022, ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' season 4 and ''All Stars'' season 6 contestant Jiggly Caliente and television personality and impersonator KaladKaren were confirmed as main judges. Brigiding "Gigi" Aricheta, or simply Brigiding, is the stage name of John Philip Aricheta, a Filipino drag performer who competed on season 1 of ''Drag Race Philippines''. She is a member of the ''Divine Divas'' with Precious Paula Nicole and Viñas DeLuxe. Brigiding also founded the drag contest called Drag Playhouse PH.
