Kyle Burroughs
Kyle Burroughs (born July 12, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Burroughs was drafted 196th overall by the New York Islanders in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Prior to turning professional, Burroughs played for the Regina Pats and the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Western Hockey League. Playing career Early career Burroughs began his minor hockey career playing AAA bantam with the Langley Eagles. As an associate captain, Burroughs recorded 40 points in 33 games during the 2009-10 season. He then established himself with the Valley West Hawks in the BC Hockey Major Midget League where he was also named an associate captain. Provincial Junior Hockey League
The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL) is a Canadian junior ice hockey, junior ice hockey league spanning parts of Southern Ontario. The PJHL is the third tier of the Ontario Hockey Association and is sanctioned by the Ontario Hockey Federation and Hockey Canada. The league was formed in 2016 with the merging of eight Junior C leagues. PJHL teams compete for the Clarence Schmalz Cup. Jared Gomes (ice Hockey)
Jared Gomes (born October 20, 1988) is a Canadian ice hockey player. He is currently an unrestricted free agent. Playing career Gomes attended the University of Prince Edward Island where he played in the Atlantic conference of Canadian Interuniversity Sport (CIS). For his outstanding play during the 2009–10 season, Gomes was selected as the 2009–10 CIS Rookie of the Year and was awarded the Clare Drake Award. He was also named to the 2011–12 AUS First All-Star Team. Gomes spent the 2013–14 season with the American Hockey League's San Antonio Rampage. 2015–16 ECHL Season
The 2015–16 ECHL season was the 28th season of the ECHL. The regular season schedule ran from October 16, 2015 to April 9, 2016 with the Kelly Cup playoffs to follow. The Kansas City Mavericks are an ice hockey team in the ECHL. Calgary Hitmen
The Calgary Hitmen are a major junior ice hockey team based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Hitmen play in the Central Division of the Western Hockey League (WHL). They play their home games at the Scotiabank Saddledome. Bret "The Hitman" Hart, a local-born professional wrestler, was a founding owner as well as the inspiration for the team's name. Dryden Hunt (born 24 November 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left wing who is currently playing for the Calgary Wranglers of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Bridgeport Islanders (previously known as the Bridgeport Sound Tigers) are a professional ice hockey team playing in the American Hockey League (AHL). Brandon Wheat Kings
The Brandon Wheat Kings are a Canadian junior ice hockey team based in Brandon, Manitoba. They are members of the Western Hockey League (WHL) since joining the league in the 1967–68 season. Previously, they played in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL), with the exception of two seasons in the mid-1960s when they played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL).
