Kyara Stijns
Kyara Stijns (born 9 October 1995) is a Dutch professional racing cyclist. She started cycling with club team 'WCL Bergklimmers' in the south of the province of Limburg. In 2013, she won the Dutch junior national championships road race. As a result, she became pro riding for Giant-Shimano in 2014. On Friday 31 July 2015 she became third in the Profronde Heerlen, after winner Chantal Blaak and second Anna van der Breggen. 2015 Le Samyn Des Dames
The 2015 Le Samyn des Dames was the fourth running of the women's Le Samyn, a women's bicycle race in Hainaut, Belgium. It was held on 4 March 2015 over a distance of starting in Quaregnon and finishing in Dour. It was rated by the UCI as a 1.2 category race. Race Due to the high speed in the beginning of the race, the bunch broke into several groups. The first group got an advantage of 25 seconds, but later it all came together. Within the last two laps of a circuit there were the first mountain sprints. The first sprint was won by Anna van der Breggen ahead of Chloe Hosking and Ellen van Dijk, of which Van der Breggen and Van Dijk were the two riders who broke away on a mountain in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad a few days earlier and won the race. Bunde, Netherlands
Bunde (; li, Bung ) is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Meerssen, about 2 km northwest of Meerssen itself. History The village was first mentioned in 893 as Bundende. The etymology is unclear. Bunde developed on the eastern flank of the Maas Valley. It used to belong to the . In 1626, it became an independent ''heerlijkheid''. Between June 1814 until May 1815, it was part of Prussia, but awarded to the Kingdom of the Netherlands by the Congress of Vienna. The Old St Agnes Church is a single aisled church with a double tower at the front. In 1714, the medieval church was replaced by the current church. The tower burnt down in 1822 after a lightning strike. The New St Agnes Church is an aisleless church with concrete tower built between 1959 and 1960. Bunde was home to 386 people in 1840. Anna van der Breggen (born 18 April 1990) is a Dutch former professional road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2021 for Team Flexpoint, , and . She won the gold medal in the women's road race at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and has won the Giro d'Italia Femminile on four occasions. Chantal van den Broek-Blaak (née Blaak; born 22 October 1989) is a Dutch road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . In 2017 she became world road race champion in Bergen, Norway. Career Junior career Van den Broek-Blaak was the Dutch national junior time trial champion in 2006 and 2007. She was European under-23 road race champion in 2009 and was also third in the Ronde van Drenthe race of the UCI Women's Road World Cup in that year. Professional career Van den Broek-Blaak began her professional career in 2008 with the Dutch and remained with them until they disbanded at the end of 2012, after which she raced for the US team for a year.
