Anna van der Breggen (born 18 April 1990) is a Dutch professional Road bicycle racing, road bicycle racer, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2021 for Team Flexpoint, , and . She won the gold medal in the Cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's individual road race, women's road race at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, and has won the Giro Donne, Giro d'Italia Femminile on four occasions. Classic Cycle Races
The classic cycle races are the most prestigious one-day professional road cycling races in the international calendar. Some of these events date back to the 19th century. They are normally held at roughly the same time each year. The five most revered races are often described as the cycling monuments. For the 2005 to 2007 seasons, some classics formed part of the UCI ProTour run by the Union Cycliste Internationale. This event series also included various stage races including the Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, Vuelta a España, Paris–Nice, and the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré. Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional road bicycle racing, cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France. The race often acts as a showcase for upcoming riders of the under-23 category who race together with Elite riders. The race was renamed Tour de Bretagne in 2005 when it also became a professional race.
