Nilambur Ayisha
Nilambur Ayisha is an Indian actress who works in the Malayalam film industry and Malayalam Drama industry. She started her career as a theater artist. Later she became a supporting actress in the Malayalam movies in late 1960s and 1970s. She has acted in more than 50 movies. She was the first woman to act in Malayalam movies and dramas from the Muslim community. Moidu Padiyath or Moithu Padiyathu (1931 - 1989) was an Indian novelist, screenplay writer, and director in Mollywood. Early life Padiyath was born in 1931. His place of birth was Eriyad, near Kodungallur town, Trichur district, Kerala. Career Padiyath narrated stories from his own family history, covering subjects such as his Muslim family's backward caste, family subjects such as biased performance, harassment between mother in-laws, daughter in-laws, sister in-law, divorce, multiple spouses, etc. He gained entry into the cinema through the veteran director Kunchacko under the banner of Udaya Studio for whom he produced his controversial novel ''Umma''. Ambika Sukumaran Nair is an Indian actress best known for her work in Malayalam cinema during the 1950s and 1960s. Padiyath Kochumoideen Kunjalu (1930 22 May 2000), better known by his stage name Bahadoor, was an Indian actor who appeared in Malayalam films, primarily in comedic roles. He, along with Adoor Bhasi, were the two major comedians in Malayalam cinema in the 1960s and 1970s. Bahadoor also appeared in character roles and in professional plays. Kottayam Chellappan (10 November 1923 – 26 December 1971) was an Indian actor in Malayalam movies. He was also a renowned stage actor and film actor who was very active in Malayalam films during the 1960s and '70s. He died on 26 December 1971. Sukumari Amma (6 October 1940 – 26 March 2013) was an Indian actress best known for her works in Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning more than five decades, She has appeared in more than 2500 films predominantly in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, along with few Hindi and one each in Sinhala, French, Italian, Bengali, Tulu, English and Kannada films. Sukumari began acting at the age of 10. In 2003, she was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for her contributions toward the arts.
