Kramies
Kramies (pronounced Kraim-iss) is an American singer-songwriter, best known for his work with producers Jason Lytle of Grandaddy, Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Jerry Becker of Train, and Todd Tobias of Guided by Voices. He has also performed with artists such as Spiritualized, Yo La Tengo, Calexico, and Tyler Ramsey formally of Band of Horses. Kramies has been awarded multiple Songs of the Year as well as EP of the year. His current two 2021 singles "Days Of" & "Ohio I’ll Be Fine" entered the US & Canadian collage charts as a Top 10. On September 9, 2022, Kramies released his first self-titled full-length LP, which gained him five Top Albums of the 2022 and two Songs of the Year. Todd Tobias
Todd Tobias (born 1967) is an American multi-instrumentalist and record producer, best known for his work with Robert Pollard and his band Guided by Voices. Other projects include Circus Devils, Kramies, The Library Is On Fire, and musical theater composer and lyricist George Griggs. Tobias began producing albums in 2002, first working with indie rock pioneers Guided By Voices on their album Universal Truths And Cycles. One year earlier in 2001, Tobias joined Guided By Voices front man Robert Pollard and brother Tim Tobias in the psychedelic rock trio Circus Devils. In 2012, Tobias began recording solo albums of instrumental, atmospheric mood music ranging in style from ambient to post-rock. Jason Lytle
Jason Lytle ( ; born March 26, 1969) is an American musician best known for his work in the indie rock group Grandaddy. The group split in 2005, and Lytle continued to release music as a solo artist and in collaboration with other musicians. Grandaddy reformed in 2012, but ultimately ceased recording and touring in 2017 following the sudden death of co-founder and bassist, Kevin Garcia. Patrick Carney
Patrick James Carney (born April 15, 1980) is an American musician and producer best known as the drummer of the Black Keys, a blues rock band from Akron, Ohio. Early life Carney stated in an interview with '' Modern Drummer'' that he never took drum lessons as a child, but learned by mimicking friends who also were drummers, using a $150 drumset that he bought with money earned from a job as a teenager. Spiritualized
Spiritualized (stylised as Spiritualized®) are an English rock band formed in 1990 in Rugby, Warwickshire, by Jason Pierce (often known as J. Spaceman), formerly of Spacemen 3. After several line up-changes, in 1999, the band centred on Pierce (vocals, guitar), Doggen Foster (guitar) and Kevin Bales (drums and percussion) with revolving bassists and keyboard players. Kyle Field (musician)
Kyle Field is an American musician who releases material under the moniker Little Wings. Early life Field was born in Alabama in 1972. As a child, his family relocated to Los Angeles, California, where his father worked as a coach for the UCLA Bruins. Career Music Field contributed bass and vocals in the band Rodriguez, along with M. Ward and Mike Funk. In the late 1990s in San Luis Obispo, California, Field formed the band Little Wings, of which he is the only permanent member. Band of Horses is an American Rock music, rock band formed in 2004 in Seattle, Seattle, Washington. Tyler Ramsey is an American singer-songwriter from Asheville, North Carolina. Career Ramsey's eponymous debut album was released in 2005. His second album, ''A Long Dream About Swimming Across the Sea'', was released on January 15, 2008, on Echo Mountain Records. In November 2007, Stereogum singled him out for their "Artist to Watch" series, describing his sound as reminiscent of both Ryan Adams and Red House Painters. Summing up his musical style, the blog stated "He's sad, but more outwardly expressive: There's a ragged blues to Ramsey's voice as well as his guitar playing." Calexico (band)
Calexico is an American indie rock band based in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1996, the band's two main members, Joey Burns and John Convertino, first played together in Los Angeles as part of the group Giant Sand. They have recorded a number of albums on Quarterstick Records and City Slang, and their 2005 EP, ''In the Reins'', recorded with Iron & Wine, reached the Billboard 200 album charts. Guided by Voices is an American indie rock band formed in 1983 in Dayton, Ohio. It has made frequent personnel changes but always maintained the presence of principal songwriter Robert Pollard. The most well-known lineup of the band consisted of Pollard (lead vocals), his brother Jim (guitar, bass), Mitch Mitchell (lead guitars), Tobin Sprout (vocals, rhythm guitars), Kevin Fennell (drums), and bassist Greg Demos.
