Yoosuf Shafeeu
Yoosuf Shafeeu also known as Eupe (20 October 1975) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, writer, and director. One of the most successful filmmakers and actors in Maldivian Cinema, Shafeeu is the recipient of a number of awards, including eight Gaumee Film Awards, and a Maldives Film Award; ; holding the record of collecting maximum Gaumee Film Award for Best Actor. In 2003, the Government of Maldives honoured him with the National Award of Recognition. Hassan Ilham is a Maldivian singer. Career Ilham made his career debut in the late 1990s though his professional career is noted to be initiated in the year 2000 with the studio album ''Hamaroalhi'' where he rendered ten songs for it. The following year, he released the song "Yaaraage Moonu Ma Dhusheemey" from the album ''Mendhan'' and "Rey Nidheegaa E Fenunu HUvafeneh" from the album ''Huvafen'', which were marked as his breakthrough performances in his career. Mohamed Abdul Ghanee
Mohamed Abdul Ghanee (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Theyravaa is a Maldivian singer and songwriter. Early life and career Born to a musical family, Ghanee had no interest in music even when his siblings spend their time in jamming and singing. While studying at Madhrasathul Ifthithaah, he participated in the Inter-house singing competition, on a request by his elder brother. His performance was well noted by judges and received several prizes. The success was followed by his next performance, the song "Theyravaa" which caught the attention of a member from the local music band Zero Degree Atoll, who insisted him to perform a different version of the song in the ''Fannaanunge Muzikee Eid Show'' (1992). Mariyam Ashfa (born 25 December 1982) is a Maldivian singer and actress. Career Since a very early age, Ashfa participated in Interschool Singing Competition where she received several accolades for the same. She made her career debut with the song "Dhan Dhan Dhan" from the album ''Rovvaanulaa'' (2006). A duet with Mohamed Abdul Ghanee, the song topped several charts upon release and her talent was recognized by the music composers. Even though "Dhan Dhan Dhan" was released earlier, her first recorded song was "Vindhaa Hithaa Jaanaa", another duet with Ghanee. The film based on true incidents occurred in an island in Maldives, follows a happily married couple who goes on a honeymoon trip and the downfall of their relationship and lives due to black-magic. Ali Seezan
Ali Seezan (born 6 February 1977) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, director and producer. He has established a career in Maldives Film Industry and is a recipient of two National Film Awards. Early life Ali Seezan was born on 6 February 1977. His parents Fathimath Waheeda and Abdul Rasheed are not active members of the film industry, though his father has worked in arranging stage shows for many events.
