Kopren
Kopren ( Bulgarian and Serbian Cyrillic: Копрен) is a summit in the western Balkan Mountains, on the border ridge between Bulgaria and Serbia. Kopren is high and belongs to the Chiprovtsi Mountain, one of the highest parts of the Balkan Mountains. The western slopes of Kopren towards Serbia are a subalpine plateau. Towards Bulgaria, the eastern face of Kopren is steep and rocky as it descends to Kopilovtsi. The stone ruins of an abandoned border post stand at below Kopren on the Bulgarian side. Kopren Waterfall
Kopren Waterfall () is the second highest waterfall in Serbia. It is located on Stara Planina mountain in southeast Serbia and high. Between 16 June 2011, when it was measured, and 9 June 2012, when the waterfall Kaluđerski Skokovi was measured, Kopren was considered the highest waterfall in Serbia. Balkan Mountains
The Balkan mountain range is located in the eastern part of the Balkan peninsula in Southeast Europe, Southeastern Europe. Chiprovtsi
Chiprovtsi (, pronounced ) List of cities and towns in Bulgaria, is a small town in northwestern Bulgaria, administratively part of Montana Province. Montana ( ) is a town in northwestern Bulgaria. It is the administrative centre of the Montana Province. On the 2021 census, it had a population of 36,455. Ogosta Reservoir
Ogosta () is a lake and reservoir in the north-west of Bulgaria. The second largest artificial lake in Bulgaria (after the Iskar Reservoir), and also in the wider Balkan Peninsula, it is one of the biggest in Europe. Collecting the waters of the rivers Ogosta, Burzia, and Zlatitsa, the lake begins only 600 meters to the south-west of the edge of Montana city, and its surface is some 60 meters above the ground level of the city. Its water catchment area covers 948 km,2 and the area of the lake itself is 24 hectares. The average water volume is 384 Mm,3 while the maximum volume is 506Mm3.
