Koło
Koło () is a town on the Warta River in central Poland with 23,101 inhabitants (2006). It is situated in the Greater Poland Voivodship and it is the capital of Koło County. History Koło is one of the oldest towns in Poland. It was granted town status in 1362 by King Casimir III. It was situated in a safe place near the royal castle, on the island in the branches of the Warta River; the town had no walls but only two gates. Roger Kolo
Kolo Christopher Laurent Roger, commonly known as Roger Kolo (born 3 September 1943), was Prime Minister of Madagascar from April 2014 to January 2015. Kolo (Bakaka) was born in Belon'i Tsiribihina, Menabe at the south-west coast of Madagascar. His father worked at a post office and served as vice-mayor. His younger brother Roland Kolo was a Member of the upper chamber ("Jolahy mpangalatra" in the Malagasy language) of the Parliament of Madagascar. He studied at the University of Antananarivo 1970–1977 where he obtained a degree in medicine. He specialized in surgery at a hospital in France before he undertook further studies in Geneva, Switzerland and became a radiologist. Kolo () is a South Slavs, South Slavic circle dance, found under this name in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, and Serbia. It is inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists, UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage for Serbia. Hungarians, Hungarian communities were also influenced by the tradition, where a similar dance is known as ''Kalala.'' Description The circle dance is usually performed amongst groups of at least three people and up to several dozen people. Dance, Dancers hold each other's hands or each other's waists. They form a circle, a single chain or multiple parallel lines. Kolo requires almost no movement above the waist. The basic steps are easy to learn. Dabo kolo (Amharic: (d'abo kolo), Oromo: ) is an Ethiopian and Eritrean snack and finger food consisting of small pieces of spiced fried dough. ''Dabo kolo'' means corn bread in the Amharic language, with ''dabo'' for bread, and '' kolo'' for corn or roasted barley, chickpeas, sunflower seeds, other local grains and peanuts. Kolo bread wrapped in a paper cone is often sold by local kiosks and street vendors. It is prepared by frying small pieces of dough cut from rolls. Sometimes honey is added to make dabo kolo sweeter. Dabo kolo is also considered a Congolese finger food. A rare alternative recipe is dabo kolo made from coffee beans. Festivities Dabo kolo is a special dish during the Ethiopian New Year festivities. Randal Kolo Muani (born 5 December 1998) is a French professional footballer who plays as a forward for club Juventus, on loan from club Paris Saint-Germain, and the France national team.
