''Kog sam đavola tražio u tebi'' (trans. ''What the Hell I Saw in You'') is the first studio album by Serbian and Yugoslav hard rock band Griva, released in 1983. Background and recording Formed in 1982, Griva recorded the material for their debut album in January 1983, offering it to major Yugoslav labels, all of the companies refusing them with the explanation that their music is off trend. However, the band managed to achieve commercial success with their debut single, a heavy metal cover of the song "Sitnije, Cile, sitnije" ("Lightly, Cile, Ligthly") by folk singer Lepa Brena, Griva's version entitled "Sitnije, sestro, sitnije" ("Lightly, Sister, Lightly"), released in 1983. The 7-inch single with the songs "Sitnije, sestro, sitnije" and "Tebi je važna samo lova" ("All You Care About Is Money") was given as a present with the 751st issue of the comic book magazine '' Stripoteka''. Griva
Griva (Serbian Cyrillic: Грива; trans. '' Mane'') was a Yugoslav hard rock band formed in Novi Sad in 1982. The band was formed by two former members of the band Ibn Tup, guitarist Josip Sabo and drummer Zlatko Karavla. After the band's original vocalist, Zoran Gogić, left the group soon after its formation, Karavla switched to the position of the band's frontman. Griva released their debut album in 1983. Their second studio album saw little commercial success, and the group split up soon after its release. The band's third release, the 1987 self-titled album, was recorded by Karavla with a number of studio musicians and released as Griva's third album on the insistence of the record label. It proved to be a large commercial success with its folk-influenced glam metal sound, which led Karavla to reform Griva after album release. Vampirella () is a vampire superheroine created by Forrest J Ackerman and comic book artist Trina Robbins in Warren Publishing's black-and-white horror comics magazine ''Vampirella'' #1 (Sept. 1969), a sister publication of '' Creepy'' and ''Eerie''. Divlje Jagode () is a hard rock and heavy metal band, originally formed in 1977 in Sarajevo, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, and since their 1994 reunion based in Croatia. Led by guitarist Sead "Zele" Lipovača, Divlje Jagode are considered one of the most popular and most influential acts of the Yugoslav hard rock and heavy metal scenes. Marina Tucaković
Marina Tucaković ( sr-Cyrl, Марина Туцаковић; 4 November 1953 – 19 September 2021) was a Serbian lyricist and songwriter. Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Tucaković had a degree from the Economic Faculty at the University of Belgrade. She first started writing songs at the age of 19. After the success of "Dodirni mi kolena" ("Touch my knees") by the Yugoslav rock group Zana and vocalist Zana Nimani, Tucaković continued working with numerous artists in then Yugoslavia. Kornelije "Bata" Kovač ( sr-Cyrl, Корнелије "Бата" Ковач, ; ; 1 January 1942 – 13 September 2022) was a Serbian composer. Early life Born in Niš during World War II in the Nazi-occupied Serbia to a Hungarian father and a Serbian mother, Kovač grew up in a prominent artistic family - his grandfather was a conductor, his father a music professor and a violinist, his mother a singer in the opera choir.
