Kobe Pauwels
Kobe Pauwels (born 23 October 2004 in Diest) is a Belgians, Belgian racing driver competing for Comtoyou Racing in the 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup, GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and 2025 GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup, GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cups. He is the 2024 24 Hours of Zolder winner. Early career Karting Pauwels started karting in 2014. During his time in karts, Pauwels most notably was runner-up in the 2018 FIA Karting Academy Trophy and was a factory driver for Birel ART during his final year of karting in 2020. Rallycross One year after competing in the 25th edition of the Volant Winfield, Pauwels made his debut in Rallycross by competing in the RallyX Nordic Championship in 2020. In 2021, Pauwels stepped up to the RX3 class of the 2021 FIA European Rallycross Championship, European Rallycross Championship with Volland Racing KFT. OKJ (karting)
OK-Junior is a kart racing class for top drivers aged 11 to 15 (drivers must reach the age of 12 within the first semester of calendar year). This class used to be called Junior Intercontinental A (JICA or ICA-J) and has changed since January 2007 when CIK- FIA decided to replace the 100 cc air-cooled two-stroke engines with 125 cc Touch-and-Go (TaG) water-cooled two-stroke engines (KF type).The engines produce . The chassis and engines must be approved by the CIK-FIA. Minimum weight is 145 kg, including kart and driver. Karts are equipped with an electric starter and clutch. The Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals (RMC) is a kart racing series owned and organized worldwide by Rotax, BRP-Rotax and its distributors, approved and in compliance with Commission Internationale de Karting, CIK-FIA. The Circuit Zolder, also known as Circuit Terlamen, is an undulating motorsport race track in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. History Built in 1963, Zolder hosted the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix on 10 separate occasions in the 1970s and 1980s, as well as the 1980 Belgian motorcycle Grand Prix. F1 moved to Zolder in 1973 and with the exception of a race at Nivelles-Baulers in 1974, Zolder was the location of the Belgian Grand Prix until 1982. That year, Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve was killed during qualifying at the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix. Villeneuve's Ferrari 126C2 collided at speed with the March 821 of Jochen Mass.
