Knockouts Knockdown
The 2021 Knockouts Knockdown was a professional wrestling event produced by Impact Wrestling. It was taped on September 17, 2021, at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee, and aired on October 9, 2021, on Impact Plus and YouTube. It was the sixth event in the Knockouts Knockdown chronology, the first event to be held since 2017, and the first to be held since the discontinuation of Impact's One Night Only series in 2019. Ten matches were contested at the event. In the main event, Decay ( Havok and Rosemary) defeated The Influence (Madison Rayne and Tenille Dashwood) to retain the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (abbreviated as TNA Wrestling or TNA) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, a Canadian media company owned by businessman Leonard Asper. Founded by Jeff Jarrett and Jerry Jarrett in 2002, following the end of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 2001, the promotion was initially known as NWA: Total Nonstop Action (NWA-TNA) and was affiliated with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) governing body. This is a list of events held by the American professional wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) on pay-per-view (PPV) and on streaming services. From its inception, TNA's main output was a two-hour weekly program broadcast exclusively on pay-per-view. The TNA Hall of Fame is a hall of fame that honors professional wrestlers and wrestling personalities who contributed to the history of the American based professional wrestling promotion Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It was established in 2012, and created as part of the celebration of the promotion's 10th anniversary. Inductees are usually announced at either the Slammiversary pay-per-view event or on episodes of ''TNA Impact!'', and the ceremony takes place prior to Bound for Glory (wrestling pay-per-view), Bound for Glory. Shannon Claire Spruill (July 17, 1975 – September 1, 2021) was an American professional wrestler, wrestling manager and actress better known by her ring name Daffney. Daffney began her professional wrestling career at World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 1999. Monster's Ball Match
A Monster's Ball match is a professional wrestling, hardcore match type that originated in and is primarily staged by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA - known as Impact Wrestling from 2017–2023). The key premise of the match is that all contenders are (in storyline) sequestered alone in a locked room without light, food, or water for 24 hours before the match, to induce extreme feelings of aggression in the competitors. Once released, the wrestlers fight one another in a no disqualification match, with the usage of weapons encouraged. Victory can be achieved by pinfall or submission, with the match ending as soon as one wrestler is pinned or submits (there is no elimination format).
