Karcag () is a district in eastern part of Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County, Hungary. ''Karcag'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Northern Great Plain, Northern Great Plain Statistical Region. This district is a part of Nagykunság historical and geographical region. Katalin "Kati" Karikó (, ; born 17 January 1955) is a Hungarian-American biochemist who specializes in ribonucleic acid (RNA)-mediated mechanisms, particularly in vitro-Transcription (biology), transcribed messenger RNA (mRNA) for protein replacement therapy. Karikó laid the scientific groundwork for mRNA vaccines, overcoming major obstacles and skepticism in the scientific community. Karikó received the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 2023 for her work, along with American immunologist Drew Weissman. Karikó co-founded and was CEO of RNARx from 2006 to 2013. Săcele (; German: ''Siebendörfer''; Hungarian: ''Négyfalu'', between 1950 and 2001 ''Szecseleváros'') is a city in Brașov County, Romania, in the Burzenland area of southeastern Transylvania, with a population of 30,920 inhabitants in 2021. Spišská Nová Ves
Spišská Nová Ves (; ; ) is a town in the Košice Region of Slovakia. The town is located southeast of the High Tatras in the Spiš region, and lies on both banks of the Hornád River. Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. There are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. The Hungarian Socialist Party (, ), commonly known by its acronym MSZP (), is a centre-left to left-wing social-democratic and pro-European political party in Hungary.
