Kieran Mullan
Kieran John Mullan (born 6 June 1984) is a British Conservative Party politician who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bexhill and Battle. He was previously the MP for Crewe and Nantwich between 2019 and 2024. He has been Shadow Minister for Justice since July 2024. Early life and career Kieran Mullan was born on 6 June 1984. He grew up in social housing, with his mother a nurse and his father a policeman. He attended King Edward VI Five Ways grammar school in Birmingham. Mullan then studied medicine at the Leeds School of Medicine. In 2008, he was an account executive for the public relations firm Weber Shandwick. From 2009 to 2013, he worked for the advocacy group Patients Association. In 2013, he contributed to a government review into the NHS Hospitals complaints system. Electoral Calculus is a political consultancy and pollster, known for its political forecasting website that attempts to predict future United Kingdom general election results. It uses MRP (Multi-level Regression and Post-stratification) to combine national factors and local demographics. Main features Electoral Calculus was founded and is run by Martin Baxter, who was a financial analyst specialising in mathematical modelling. Birmingham Hodge Hill was a constituency of part of the city of Birmingham represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament from 2004 to 2024 by Liam Byrne of the Labour Party. Under the 2023 periodic review of Westminster constituencies, the seat was abolished and largely replaced with constituency of Birmingham Hodge Hill and Solihull North. Ealing () is a district in west London (sub-region), west London, England, west of Charing Cross in the London Borough of Ealing. The Patients Association is an independent charity operating in the UK that aims to improve patients' experience of healthcare. Established in 1963, it became a registered charity in 1991. The Patients Association works with patients directly: they are its members and supporters, and also the people who benefit from the organisation's help and advice services.
