Khilchipur
Khilchipur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Rajgarh district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. In 2022 Janpad Panchayat election held in which BJP emerged as a winner and make their candidate Janpad Adhyaksh and up-adhyaksh under the leadership of Kunwar Hajarilal Dangi (Former BJP MLA of Khilchipur constituency). History Founded in 1544 by Dewan Ugra Sen, a Khichi Rajput. A Fort is also in the khilchipur which is situated near the gad ganga river. A grant of land was made to him by the Mughal Emperor, which included the adjoining Jirapur and Machalpur parganas, later a part of Indore state, and Shujalpur, later in Gwalior state. Priyavrat Singh (born 5 December 1977) is an Indian politician who is a member of the Indian National Congress, and the Formar Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Madhya Pradhesh, He was the Ex. MLA from Khilchipur Assembly constituency, He is very Popular in his constituency. Hailing from the erstwhile royal family of Khilchipur State, he is also known as Raja Rao Bahadur Priyavrat Singh. Rajgarh District () is a district of Madhya Pradesh in central India. The city of Rajgarh is the administrative headquarters of the district. The old name of Rajgarh was Jhanjhanipur. Gwalior State
The Gwalior State was a List of Maratha dynasties and states, state within the Maratha Confederacy located in Central India.
