Kherson Raion
Kherson Raion (; ) is a raion (district) of Kherson Oblast, Ukraine. History Kherson Raion was created on 18 July 2020 as part of the reform of administrative divisions of Ukraine. The center of the raion is the city of Kherson. The city of Oleshky to the south of Kherson is the second largest city, and the largest in the former Oleshky Raion. Two abolished raions, Bilozerka and Oleshky Raions, as well as Kherson Municipality, were merged into Kherson Raion. A raion (; ), often translated as district, is the second-level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, administrative division in Ukraine. Raions were created in a 1922 administrative reform of the Soviet Union, to which Ukraine, as the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, belonged. On 17 July 2020, the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) approved an administrative reform to merge most of the 490 raions, along with the "City of regional significance (Ukraine), cities of regional significance", which were previously outside the raions, into just 136 reformed raions. Hromada
In Ukraine, a hromada () is the main type of municipality and the third level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, local self-government in Ukraine. The current hromadas were established by the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. A municipality is designated ''urban hromada'' if its administration is located in a city; ''settlement hromada'' if it is located in a settlement (''selyshche''), and ''rural hromada'' if it is located in a village (Village#Ukraine, ''selo'') or a ''selyshche''. Hromadas are grouped to form Raions of Ukraine, raions (districts); groups of raions form Oblasts of Ukraine, oblasts (regions). Oleshky urban hromada () is a hromada (community) of Ukraine, in Kherson Raion, Kherson Oblast. Its administrative center is the city Oleshky. Muzykivka
Muzykivka () is a large village located in Kherson Raion north of the city of Kherson, Kherson Oblast. It hosts the administration of Muzykivka rural hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Geography The village is situated 13 km from the centre of Kherson city. It has an area of 5.6 km2 and a population of approximately 2,672 people. History Muzykivka is first mentioned in written sources in 1815 as "Muzykyni khutory" (, literally "Muzyky's khutir"). Darivka, Kherson Oblast
Darivka (), is a village located on the Inhulets River in Kherson Raion, Kherson Oblast, southern Ukraine. It has a population of approximately 2,855 people. Administrative status Until July 2020, Darivka was in the Bilozerka Raion of Kherson Oblast. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as a result of the administrative reform of Ukraine's districts, which reduced the number of raions in Kherson Oblast to five, merging Bilozerka Raion into Kherson Raion. Chornobaivka
Chornobaivka (, ) is a suburban Village#Ukraine, village in Kherson Raion, Kherson Oblast, southern Ukraine. It is the center of the Municipal council, village council.
