''Khalaas'' is a 2008 Maldivian erotic horror thriller film directed by Ahmed Nimal. Produced by Ali Seezan under C-Xanal Movies, the film stars Ali Seezan, Mariyam Afeefa and Nadhiya Hassan in pivotal roles. Plot Faya (Ali Seezan) and Sara (Mariyam Afeefa), a newly married couple relocate themselves to Sri Lanka and they experience strange horrific incidences within the house they live in. Faya bumps into a girl Reena (Nadhiya Hassan) who intentionally drops her wallet, inviting him to her house where they share intimacy. He stays all night with her while a scared Sara is encountered with a supernatural force. Ali Seezan (born 6 February 1977) is a Maldivian film actor, editor, director and producer. He has established a career in Maldives Film Industry and is a recipient of two National Film Awards. Early life Ali Seezan was born on 6 February 1977. Ahmed Nimal is a Maldivian actor, director, editor, writer and producer. Early life Prior to acting in films, Nimal worked at Maldives Meteorological Service office. Mumthaz Moosa is a Maldivian former singer. Career Mumthaz was first heard in the early 2000s where he appeared in some of the local stage shows being performed at that time.
