Mumthaz Moosa
Mumthaz Moosa is a Maldivian former singer. Career Mumthaz was first heard in the early 2000s where he appeared in some of the local stage shows being performed at that time. After his talent was recognized by the music directors, he was offered to record several songs for studio albums and feature films where the songs "Reydhuvaa Gunamun" from ''Rasfarihi'' (2003) and "Hibakuramey" from ''Saahil'' (2004) were some of his earlier releases in his professional career. His precise rendition of the songs "Fenna Hin'dhu Konme Thaakun" from ''Hiyy Dheefaa'' (2005) and "Ulhe Ulhefa" from ''Ulhe Ulhefa'' (2005) turns to be a major breakthrough in his career. He then lent his voice for the song "Loabivaayaanulaa" from the film '' Zuleykha'' (2005) which is considered as one of the biggest hits in his career. Fazeela Amir
Fazeela Amir (16 December 1969) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Fazeela Amir was born and raised in the "Amir family" where several artists including Ahmed Amir and Ibrahim Amir were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. She made her career debut with the album ''Hiyy Fahi'' where she lent her voice for eleven songs in the album. This resulted in her receiving several offers from music directors and producers to sing for their films and albums before making her breakthrough with her "high-pitched" rendition of the songs in the 1994 released film ''Dheriyaa''. Her duets with Ali Rameez are well noted in the industry and maximum duets with Rameez are recorded by Amir. In 1998, the Government of Maldives honoured her with the National Award of Recognition. Rafiyath Rameeza
Rafiyath Rameeza (23 March 1976) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Rafiyath Rameeza was born and raised in the "Rameez family" where several artists including Ali Rameez and Ibrahim Rameez were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. At the age of 12, while studying at Aminiya School, she competed in the Television Maldives Interschool Singing Competition and continued to participate in the same competition for more years. In 1993, at the age of seventeen, while studying at Malé English School, Rameeza performed the song "Kaakuhey Mithaahuree" in the competition which fetched the award for best performer from her age category and was ranked in the second place of the competition. Hassan Ilham
Hassan Ilham is a Maldivian singer. Career Ilham made his career debut in the late 1990s though his professional career is noted to be initiated in the year 2000 with the studio album ''Hamaroalhi'' where he rendered ten songs for it. Ibrahim Zaid Ali
Ibrahim Zaid Ali (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Kuda Ibbe is a Maldivian singer and music composer. Early life and career Since childhood, Ali had been listening to all genres of songs from Bollywood classical to hip-hop to heavy metal music. At the age of seven, Ali fabricated music equipment including guitar and drum using wood, plywood and tin, where he used these self-made instruments to perform songs in the football stadium. Mohamed Abdul Ghanee
Mohamed Abdul Ghanee (born 15 April 1978), commonly known as Theyravaa is a Maldivian singer and songwriter. Early life and career Born to a musical family, Ghanee had no interest in music even when his siblings spend their time in jamming and singing. While studying at Madhrasathul Ifthithaah, he participated in the Inter-house singing competition, on a request by his elder brother. His performance was well noted by judges and received several prizes.
