Kevin Keatts
Kevin Andre Keatts (born July 28, 1972) is an American college basketball coach who was most recently the head coach at NC State Wolfpack men's basketball, North Carolina State University. Early life and playing career Keatts grew up as an only child in Lynchburg, Virginia. His father was a masonry instructor at Amherst County High School, and Keatts worked as his apprentice on the weekends. He attended Heritage High School (Lynchburg, Virginia), Heritage High School and played point guard on their basketball team as well as quarterback on their football team. As starting quarterback, Keatts led the football team to be ranked the best in the state, losing only one game his entire career. He played basketball for Ferrum College, averaging 13.3 points per game by his senior year. Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Tournament
The Coastal Athletic Association men's basketball tournament is the conference championship tournament in basketball for the Coastal Athletic Association (formerly known as the Colonial Athletic Association). The tournament has been held every year since at least 1980; for the 1979-80 to 1984-85 seasons the conference was known as the ECAC South. Marreese Speights
Marreese Akeem "Mo" Speights (born August 4, 1987) is an American former professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Florida Gators, where he was a freshman member of their NCAA national championship team in 2007. The Philadelphia 76ers selected him in the first round of the 2008 NBA draft with the 16th overall pick. Early life Speights was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. Greg White (born March 31, 1959) is an American basketball coach, the head coach at Marshall University and an assistant coach for the UCLA Bruins. Ferrum College
Ferrum College is a private college in Ferrum, Virginia. The college was established in 1913 as the "Ferrum Training School" (also referred to as the "Ferrum Institute" by its board of trustees) for primary and secondary education to serve the mountain communities of rural Southwest Virginia. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. Heritage High School is a public high school located in Lynchburg, Virginia. The school is a part of Lynchburg City Public Schools District. Timothy Beatty is the head principal. 2024 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2024 ACC men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference held at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., from March 12 to 16, 2024. It was the 71st annual edition of the tournament. The NC State Wolfpack won the title as the tenth seed, winning five games in five days to become tournament champions. They were the lowest seed to win the tournament and the first team to win five games in five days since UConn accomplished the feat to win the 2011 Big East Tournament.
