Ken Donnelly
Kenneth J. Donnelly (July 15, 1950 – April 2, 2017) was a Massachusetts state senator for the Fourth Middlesex district, which included his hometown of Arlington and several other cities. He was a Democrat who served from 2009 to 2017. Donnelly graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BA in Labor Studies. He was a retired lieutenant with the Lexington Fire Department in Lexington, Massachusetts. On June 17, 2014, Donnelly endorsed fellow Democrat Don Berwick in the Massachusetts gubernatorial election, 2014. Arlington is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States. Donald M. Berwick (born September 9, 1946) is a former Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Prior to his work in the administration, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement a not-for-profit organization. On July 7, 2010, President Barack Obama appointed Berwick to serve as the Administrator of CMS through a recess appointment. A brain tumor (sometimes referred to as brain cancer) occurs when a group of cells within the Human brain, brain turn cancerous and grow out of control, creating a mass. There are two main types of tumors: malignant (cancerous) tumors and benign tumor, benign (non-cancerous) tumors. These can be further classified as primary tumors, which start within the brain, and metastasis, secondary tumors, which most commonly have spread from tumors located outside the brain, known as brain metastasis tumors. All types of brain tumors may produce symptoms that vary depending on the size of the tumor and the part of the brain that is involved. Where symptoms exist, they may include headaches, seizures, problems with visual perception, vision, vomiting and cognition, mental changes.
