Karketu Dili Futebol Clube is a Timorese professional football club based in Dili, that competes in the Liga Futebol Amadora, the top tier domestic league since its inception in 2016. The club wins the Premeira Divisão in 2017, finishing with a total of 28 points, 3 above runners up AS Ponte Leste. They also finished runner-up in the competition in both the 2018 Premeira Divisão to champions Boavista. The club have won a record of 3 league titles and 1 LFA Super Taça. History In 2019, Karketu Dili hired former Persiba Balikpapan coach Mr. Haryadi as the team's new manager. The National Stadium of Timor-Leste (, ), also known as the Municipal Stadium of Dili (, ), is a multi-purpose stadium in Dili, Timor-Leste. The stadium has a capacity of 5,000 and is used mostly for association football, football matches. Iurie Anatolievici Arcan (born 15 November 1964) is a Moldovan football manager and former player, who managed Karketu Dili in 2016. He holds a UEFA Pro license. Managerial career Upon moving to Indonesia, Iurie became the coach of Persija Jakarta, where he would stay until 2006. 2021 Liga Futebol Amadora
The 2021 Liga Futebol Amadora was the fifth season of the Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão. The season began on 12 November and finished on 23 December 2021. Lalenok United were the defending champions. Karketu Dili won their second Liga Futebol Amadora title and qualified for the 2022 AFC Cup in the play-off round. Though, they did not participate because they didn't have an AFC license. Most games took place at the 5,000-capacity National Stadium. 2020 Copa FFTL
The 2020 Copa FFTL was an association football competition in men's domestic Timor football. The tournament was organised by the East Timor Football Federation and was held during 2020 in response to the Liga Futebol Amadora league system being cancelled due to COVID-19. The tournament was contested by the 20 clubs from the Primeira Divisão and Segunda Divisão. The competition featured a multistage format, with the participating teams initially being divided into four groups of five teams, each team playing each other once. After the group stage the four group winners and the four group runners-up progressed to the quarterfinals of a knockout finals series to determine the winner.
