2017 LFA Primeira
The 2017 LFA Primeira is the second season of the Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão. The season began on February 18 and finished on September 16. Sport Laulara e Benfica is the current defending champions. All Primeira Divisão games are played at the Baucau Municipal Stadium and Malibaca Yamato Stadium. Primeira Divisão games used Dili Municipal Stadium for matchday 12 on 10-13 August 2017, matchday 13 on 1-4 September 2017 and three matches in matchday 14 on 7-9 September 2017. Karketu Dili Futebol Clube is a East Timor, Timorese professional association football, football club based in Dili, that competes in the Liga Futebol Amadora, the top tier domestic league since its inception in 2016. Aileu District
Aileu (, ) is a municipality, and was formerly a district, of East Timor. It has a population of 48,554 (Census 2015) and an area of 737 km². The municipality's capital is also named Aileu. Its administrative posts are Aileu, Laulara, Lequidoe and Remexio. Etymology The word ''Aileu'' means "bent tree" in the local Mambai language. According to legend, the root of a banyan fig tree ('' Ficus benghalensis'') grew to maturity without a branch or leaf. The tree developed into a twisted shape that looked like a chair; its unique appearance made it famous, and eventually gave the community its name. Rochy Melkiano Putiray (born 26 June 1970 Indonesia) is a retired footballer from Indonesia. Rochy was probably the most easily recognised player on the Indonesia national football team because of his brightly coloured and constantly changing hair. Dili ( Portuguese/ Tetum: ''Díli'') is the capital, largest city of East Timor and the second largest city in Timor islands after Kupang (Indonesia). AS Ponta Leste is a football club based in Dili, East Timor. The team plays in the Liga Futebol Amadora in the Primeira Divisão. The club's most successful season came in 2016 in which the team won the 2016 Taça 12 de Novembro after beating Assalam FC 1-0 in the final, as well as the Super Taça which they won against league champions Benfica Laulara 2-1.
