Bus Terminus
A bus station, bus depot, or bus interchange is a structure where city buses or intercity buses stop to pick up and drop off passengers. A bus station is larger than a bus stop, which is usually simply a place on the roadside, where buses can stop. It may be intended as a terminal station for a number of routes, or as a transfer station where the routes continue. Bus station platforms may be assigned to fixed bus lines, or variable in combination with a dynamic passenger information system. Pataliputra Bus Terminal
The Patliputra Inter-State Bus Terminal (Patliputra ISBT) or Bairiya Bus Terminal is an Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Patna, Bihar, India. It is the first ISBT of Bihar and is situated on State Highway 1 (SH-1) between Raman Chak and Pahari village in Patna. The Patliputra ISBT was inaugurated on 18 September 2020. In 2022, government buses under the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation (BSRTC) running from Bankipur bus depot at Gandhi Maidan were shift to this new bus terminal. The Maharana Pratap Interstate Bus Terminus (Maharana Pratap ISBT), popularly known as Kashmere Gate Interstate Bus Terminus (Kashmere Gate ISBT), located in Kashmere Gate, Old Delhi, Delhi, India, is the oldest and one of the largest Inter-State Bus Terminals in India.
