Raipur
Raipur ( ) is the capital city of the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Raipur is also the administrative headquarters of Raipur district and Raipur division, and the largest city of the state. It was a part of Madhya Pradesh before the state of Chhattisgarh was formed on 1 November 2000. It is a major commercial hub for trade and commerce in the region. It has exponential industrial growth and has become a major business hub in Central India. It has been ranked as List of cleanest cities in India, India's 6th cleanest city as per the Swachh Survekshan for the year 2021. Swami Vivekananda Airport , formerly known as Mana Airport, is a domestic airport serving Raipur, the capital city of the state of Chhattisgarh, India. Inter-State Bus Terminal, Raipur
Shri Balaji Swami Trust Sri Dudhadhari Math Inter State Bus Terminal, locally known as ISBT Bhatagaon, is a newly constructed hi-tech bus terminal situated on 25 acres in the Ravanbhata–Bhatagaon area of Raipur, Chhattisgarh. It is the first ISBT in Chhattisgarh and the largest bus station in Central and Eastern India, with a capacity to handle 300 buses daily, offering a range of facilities to passengers. The terminal serves as an Interstate Bus Terminal, providing bus services to passengers from neighboring states such as Maharashtra, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand. The primary purpose of constructing this terminal was to replace the Minimata Agam Dass Guru Bus Stand in Pandri, which had been causing traffic congestion and safety concerns. Brijmohan Agrawal (born 1 May 1959) is an Indian politician from Chhattisgarh. He is a member of the Lok Sabha from Raipur. He was an eight time Member of Vidhan Sabha representing Raipur Town & later Raipur City South from 1990 till 2024. He served as minister in several departments of the Madhya Pradesh government and, after formation, the Chhattisgarh government. Most recently he was in Sai cabinet from 2023 to 2024.
