Kaikalur Assembly constituency is a constituency in Eluru district of Andhra Pradesh, representing the state legislative assembly in India. It is one of the seven assembly segments of Eluru (Lok Sabha constituency), along with Unguturu, Denduluru, Eluru, Polavaram, Chintalapudi and Nuzvid. ''Dulam Nageswara Rao'' is the present MLA of the constituency, who won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from YSR Congress Party. , there are a total of 195,782 electors in the constituency. Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly or Andhra Pradesh Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Andhra Pradesh Legislature. The Legislative Assembly consists of 175 members which are elected by adult universal suffrage under the first-past-the-post system. The duration of the Assembly is five years from the date appointed for its first meeting, unless it is decided to dissolve the Assembly sooner. The Legislative Assembly's main functions include legislation, overseeing of administration, passing the budget, and airing public grievances. The assembly is Bicameral and holds three sessions annually: one for Budget, Monsoon and Winter. The Legislative Assembly took up residence in the interim Legislative Assembly Building in Amaravati beginning in the 2016 Budget session. Kalidindi Mandal
Kalidindi mandal is one of the 28 mandals in Eluru district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. The headquarters of this mandal is located at Kalidindi town. The mandal is bordered by Kalidindi mandal to the north, West Godavari district to the east, Kruthivennu mandal to the south, and Bantumilli mandal to the west. Demographics As of the 2010 census, the mandal has a population of 70,729 living in 19,894 households. The total population constituted 35,364 males and 35,365 females, for a sex ratio of 1000 females per 1000 males. 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It was held concurrently with the Indian general election. The results were declared on 16 May 2014. The Telugu Desam Party led by N. Chandrababu Naidu won a majority of the 175 seats in the rump Andhra Pradesh, while Telangana Rashtra Samithi led by K. Chandrashekar Rao won in the new state of Telangana. 1952 Madras Legislative Assembly Election

Dulam Nageswara Rao (born 1959) is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election on YSR Congress Party ticket from Kaikalur Constituency in the erstwhile Krishna district.
