Skeid is a Norway, Norwegian association football, football club from Oslo that currently plays in Norwegian First Division, 1. divisjon (OBOS-ligaen), the second tier of the Norwegian football league system. Its current home field is Nordre Åsen, after the club stopped playing at Bislett stadion#Football, Bislett after the 2012 season. In past decades it has gained a reputation as a talent factory for the larger clubs in Norwegian football, and it has produced several players for the Norway national football team, national team such as Daniel Braaten, Daniel Fredheim Holm, Omar Elabdellaoui and Mohammed Abdellaoue. Norway National B Football Team
The Norway national football B team was a secondary national association football team under the control of the Football Association of Norway. The team was formed in 1929 and for the next decade played an annual match against Sweden B. From 1946 to 1966 the team started playing more matches, normally an annual match each against Denmark B, Finland B and Sweden B. The team went on a hiatus which has since only been broken twice, once in 1989 and for three matches in 2002. History Norway B's first match was a 3–1 loss against Sweden B in Stockholm on 29 September 1929, which was also the debut game for Sweden B. Skeid now counts 1 January 1915 as its founding date.
