KK Vinkovci
Košarkaški Klub Vinkovci (''"Vinkovci Basketball Club"'') is a Croatian basketball team from Vinkovci. History KK Vinkovci was founded on October 8, 1963. In its history, the club changed its name several times - KK Vinkovci, KK Dinamo Vinkovci, KK Telecomp Vinkovci -, and still exists under the original name KK Vinkovci. The first name was changed to Dinamo, then in TELECOMP, after The club, which financially was closely linked to the failed bank from Vinkovci, basketball is in the Bosutu organized game under the original name. The club is playing its home games in the Basketball hall "Lenije" in Vinkovci. The biggest success of the club realized the nineties of the 20th century when the club played very well and recorded historical successes. The Hrvatski Telekom Premijer liga ( en, Hrvatski Telekom Premier League, ), also known as HT Premijer liga or simply Premijer liga, is the first tier level men's professional basketball league in Croatia. It began in 1991, following the breakup of SFR Yugoslavia and therefore the Yugoslav League, and is organized by the Croatian Basketball Federation. The HT Premijer liga, which is played under FIBA rules, currently consists of 12 teams. The most successful club is KK Cibona with 19 championship titles. Vinkovci () is a city in Slavonia, in the Vukovar-Syrmia County in eastern Croatia. The city's registered population was 28,247 in the 2021 census, the total population of the city was 31,057, making it the largest town of the county. Mario Kasun
Mario Kasun (born April 5, 1980) is a Croatian former professional basketball player. He played at the center position. Professional career Kasun started playing basketball at a local club in Delnice when he was 14, before he started playing professionally with BC Zrinjevac in Zagreb. He was part of the 1998–99 Croatian junior team and the Croatian under-21 team in 2000. After two seasons in the Zagreb club, and winning the Croatian Cup, in 2000 he moved to Gonzaga University in the NCAA, but was subsequently suspended by the Croatian Basketball Federation for this abrupt move, and spent two seasons on the bench. Kasun played at 2002 NBA pre-draft camp in Chicago, being one of the tallest players, and showing some center skills.
