KFBZ (105.3 FM) is a radio station operating in Wichita, Kansas, and licensed to Haysville, Kansas as "105.3 The Buzz". The station airs a hot adult contemporary format and it is owned by Audacy, Inc. The station's studios are located near Douglas Avenue and Webb Road in eastern Wichita, while the transmitter is located outside Colwich, Kansas. The station mainly plays music from the 1990s to present (with a heavy emphasis on recent music) and is the local affiliate for The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. KGHF (99.7 FM) is an American radio station broadcasting a classic country format in Wichita, Kansas. The station is licensed to Belle Plaine, Kansas. KGHF broadcasts in the HD Radio format; the station's HD2 sub-channel airs a Regional Mexican format branded as "La Raza", which is also heard on 250 watt FM translator K273CX at 102.5 MHz. History KGHF was first issued a construction permit for 92.7 FM on February 10, 1993, issued as KUOY. Under the ownership of Daniel D. Haysville, Kansas
Haysville is a city in Sedgwick County, Kansas, United States, and a suburb of Wichita. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 11,262. Haysville is known as the "Peach Capital of Kansas". History W.W. Hays came to this area in the early 1870s. In 1891, he platted land that he owned so a town could be built. The Haysville State Bank was established in 1919. Truck farming supported a lot of the families in the area. In 1874 a grist mill was built on the bank of the Cowskin to process corn that was harvested in the area.
