KB Besëlidhja
KB Besëlidhja, also known as Besëlidhja Eagles Basket, is a professional basketball club based in Lezhë, Albania. The club currently plays in the Albanian Basketball Superleague and in the Liga Unike. The club is part of the multidisciplinary Besëlidhja Lezhë. History Besëlidhja promoted to the Superleague after 30 years in 2022 after winning against Partizani in the play-out. In the following year, Besëlidhja reached the final of the Superleague but lost against Tirana 3–2. Besëlidhja debuted in Liga Unike on the 28 March 2024 in the quarterfinals against Sigal Prishtina. Despite the dominance of Besëlidhja in the first half, they lost the game close with the result 79–80. The Albanian Basketball Superliga is the men's professional basketball league in Albania. It was founded in 1946 shortly after the formation of the Albanian Basketball Association and it is the highest division in the Albanian Basketball League. The team with the most championships is Partizani who have won 33 championships in total, but none since 1996. The Albanian Basketball League is the men's professional basketball league in Albania. It was founded in 1946 shortly after the formation of the Albanian Basketball Association and is now divided into two divisions, the Albanian Basketball Superliga, Superliga and Albanian Basketball First Division, First Division, consisting of 12 teams each. Robert Shestani (born 14 September 1993) is an Albanian basketball player. He was part of the Albania national basketball team, Albanian national team from 2016 until 2021. Julian Hamati (born 16 November 1992) is an Albanian professional basketball player who currently plays for Besëlidhja in the Albanian Basketball League. Hamati started his career in 2012 and has since been a part of the Albanian Basketball League. In 2018, following his transfer to Teuta he was also a part of the Balkan International Basketball League. The 2024–25 Liga Unike was the fifth season of the Liga Unike, a professional basketball league in Albania and Kosovo. It started on the 4 December 2024 and ended on the 27 March 2025.
