Jürgen Croy
Jürgen Croy (born 19 October 1946) is a German former professional association football, footballer who played as a goalkeeper (association football), goalkeeper. He made 86 appearances for the East Germany national football team, East Germany national team. Club career Born in Zwickau, Croy spent his entire footballing career at FSV Zwickau, BSG Sachsenring Zwickau (today FSV Zwickau), with which he won the East German Cup in 1967 and 1975. He was one of East Germany's few international players not to play for a top club such as Dynamo Dresden, FC Carl Zeiss Jena, or FC Magdeburg. As such, Croy did not get the chance to play frequently in European competitions and did not gain the international fame he deserved. 1974 World Cup
The 1974 FIFA World Cup was the 10th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial Association football, football tournament for men's senior national teams, and was played in West Germany (and West Berlin) between 13 June and 7 July. The tournament marked the first time that the current trophy, the FIFA World Cup Trophy, created by the Italian sculptor Silvio Gazzaniga, was awarded. The previous trophy, the Jules Rimet Trophy, had been won for the third time by Brazil national football team, Brazil in 1970 FIFA World Cup, 1970 and awarded permanently to the Brazilians. FC Magdeburg
1. FC Magdeburg is a German Association football club based in Magdeburg. The club was founded in 1965 from the football department of the sports club '' SC Magdeburg'' and has been one of the top teams in the DDR-Oberliga, winning three championships and seven cup titles. By winning the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1974, the club became the only East German club to win a European trophy and also achieved the greatest success in its history. 1974–75 FDGB-Pokal
The 1974–75 season saw the 24th competition for the FDGB-Pokal. 89 teams participated. After a qualifying round pitting 6 clubs from the second-tier DDR-Liga against each other, the first round and an additional intermediate round were played with 55 teams from the 1973-74 DDR-Liga, the teams relegated from the first-tier DDR-Oberliga after the 1973-74 season and the 15 winners of the various 1973-74 Bezirkspokal competitions. By the round of the last 16, all Bezirkspokal winners had been eliminated, and only two second-tier teams, 1. FC Union Berlin and Motor Nordhausen remained in the competition. As had been done in the past two competitions, fixtures were played over two legs from the round of 16 to the semifinals. FDGB-Pokal
The FDGB-Pokal (Freier Deutscher Gewerkschaftsbund Pokal or Free German Trade Union Federation Cup) was an elimination football tournament held annually in East Germany. It was the second most important national title in East German football after the DDR-Oberliga championship. The founder of the competition was East Germany's major trade union. Cuba National Football Team
The Cuba national football team () represents Cuba in men's international football, and is controlled by the Asociación de Fútbol de Cuba (), which is a member of FIFA since 1932 and was a founding member of CONCACAF since 1961. It was also affiliated with NAFC (1946–1955) and later with CCCF (1955–1961), which was the two predecessor confederations of CONCACAF. It was also a member of PFC, the attempt at a unified confederation of the Americas. Nicknamed ''Los Leones del Caribe'' ().
