Jyrki Ahola
Jyrki Ahola (born 29 November 1971) is a Finnish football coach. He is currently working as a scout for Veikkausliiga club Inter Turku. Ahola has obtained a UEFA Pro -coaching license. Career Ahola started his coaching career in his hometown club Riihimäen Palloseura (RiPS) in 1987. In 2001, he joined HJK Helsinki organisation. He has worked as a coaching director of Kuusysi in 2017, and as an assistant coach for Mikko Mannila in HJK Klubi 04 in 2018–2019. Ahola was named the manager of AC Oulu in late 2019 on a two-year deal with a one-year option, starting in the 2020 Ykkönen season in Finnish second-tier. He managed the club to win the Ykkönen title and earn a promotion to Veikkausliiga. The next season in the top-tier was difficult for the team and eventually he was dismissed in September 2021. Riihimäki
Riihimäki (; ) is a town and municipality in the south of Finland, about north of Helsinki and southeast of Tampere. Veikkausliiga () is a professional association football league in Finland and the highest level of the Finnish football league system. The league comprises the top 12 clubs of the country. Its main sponsor is the Finnish national betting agency Veikkaus, hence the league's name. Veikkausliiga was founded in 1990; before that the top division was called ''Mestaruussarja'' (championship series) since 1930 which was an amateur or semi-professional league. 2023 Ykkönen
The 2023 Ykkönen was the 52nd season of Ykkönen, the second highest football league in Finland. The season began on 14 April 2023 and ended on 7 October 2023. It was the final season of the Ykkönen serving as the second-tier football league in Finland, following its demotion to third-tier. Twelve teams contested the league. The champions ( EIF) and runners-up ( Gnistan) were promoted to the 2024 Veikkausliiga. The second, third, and fourth-placed teams (Gnistan, MP, and SJK Akatemia) qualified for the Veikkausliiga play-off. The bottom two teams ( JJK and KPV) were relegated to the 2024 Ykkönen. The sixth-placed team (HIFK) dissolved after the season finished due to bankruptcy, giving the tenth-placed team ( KäPa) a reprieve from relegation.
