Loon, Bohol
Loon, officially the Municipality of Loon (; ), is a municipality of the Philippines, municipality in the Philippine Province, province of Bohol, Philippines which was established in 1753. There are hundreds of published Boholano writers (or Bol-anon writers) from the time Boholano literature emerged since the time of Boholano priestess Karyapa before the arrival of the Spaniards. Junelie Otero Barrios (born on June 12, 1968, to parents of Manobo origin), professionally known as Bayang Barrios, is a Filipina pop musician and singer who hails from Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. She once downplayed her ethnic origins, until she met the songwriter-performer Joey Ayala and joined his band, ''Ang Bagong Lumad''. Many of her known songs, especially those recorded with Ayala, utilized Filipino indigenous instruments.
