Justice League Task Force (comics)
''Justice League Task Force'' was an American monthly comic book series published by DC Comics from June 1993 to August 1996; it lasted 37 issues. At the time the Justice League was featured in three separate series: '' Justice League America'', '' Justice League Europe'' (''JLE'') and '' Justice League Quarterly'' (JLQ). ''Justice League Task Force'' was a spinoff of ''Justice League Europe'', a series which ran from April 1989 to May 1993. Like JLE, this team carried a United Nations charter which sanctioned their activities. In fact, JLTF was composed of several former JLE members. The team was called to action by Hannibal Martin, a representative of the U.N. Green Arrow is a superhero who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Mort Weisinger and designed by George Papp, he first appeared in ''More Fun Comics'' No. 73 on September 19, 1941 (cover dated November 1941), the same issue that debuted Aquaman. Geist (Dwayne Geyer) is a fictional character in the DC Comics universe. He was created by Chuck Dixon and Jim Balent, and first appeared in ''Detective Comics Annual'' #6 (1993). Fictional character biography Dwayne Geyer is among the metahumans whose abilities were activated by alien parasites during the ''Bloodlines (comics), Bloodlines'' event. As a result, he becomes less visible in dim lighting and completely invisible in bright light. Using his powers, he helps Jean-Paul Valley, Batman defeat one of the parasites in Gotham City. Wally West
Wallace Rudolph "Wally" West is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics as the original Kid Flash and the third Flash (DC Comics character), Flash. His power consists mainly of speedster (fiction), superhuman speed. The nephew of Iris West, he first appeared in ''Flash'' #110 (1959), which depicted his transformation into Kid Flash. Under the mantle of Kid Flash, Wally was depicted as a teenage sidekick to his uncle-by-marriage, Barry Allen, and a founding member of the Teen Titans.
