Juremi Profar
Juremi Gregorius Profar (born January 30, 1996) is a Dutch-Curaçaoan professional baseball infielder for the Québec Capitales of the Frontier League. Career Texas Rangers Profar signed with the Texas Rangers as an international free agent in 2012. He made his professional debut in 2013 with the DSL Rangers and spent the whole season there, batting .281/.361/.350 with 44 RBIs in 63 games. In 2014, he played for the Spokane Indians where he batted .247 with one home run and 36 RBIs in 67 games. He also played in seven games for the Hickory Crawdads and two games for the Round Rock Express. Profar spent 2015 with the High Desert Mavericks and Hickory where he compiled a .266 batting average with four home runs and 33 RBIS in 77 games between both teams, 2016 with High Desert where he slashed .300/.355/.473 with 13 home runs, 58 RBIs, and an .827 OPS in 103 games, and 2017 with the Frisco RoughRiders where he batted .263 with ten home runs and forty RBIs in 109 games. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. 2019 WBSC Premier12
The 2019 WBSC Premier12 was an international baseball championship featuring the 12 highest-ranked national teams in the world, held by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). It was the second WBSC Premier12 event. The championship was held from November 2 to 17, 2019, in Mexico, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. The tournament served as a qualifier for baseball at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Two quota spots were allocated, with Team Mexico as the top finisher from the Americas earning one spot, and Team South Korea as the top-finishing team from the Asia/Oceania region (excluding Team Japan, which already qualified as host) earning the other. Jurickson Barthelomeus Profar (born February 20, 1993) is a Curaçaoan professional baseball infielder and outfielder who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers, Oakland Athletics and San Diego Padres. 2023 World Baseball Classic
The 2023 World Baseball Classic (WBC), an international professional baseball tournament, is set to be the fifth iteration of the World Baseball Classic. It was originally set for 2021 (as per tradition to hold the event every four years), but was canceled in May 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later announced that qualifications for the Classic would start in September 2022, as agreed by Major League Baseball (MLB) and the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA). The tournament is being expanded from 16 to 20 national teams, with all teams that participated in the 2017 edition automatically qualifying, plus four additional spots.
