Juraj Rizman
Juraj Rizman (born 1 November 1976) is a Slovak communication consultant and TV presenter. He is known to the public as the partner of the Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová. He is a former civil activist (he worked in the sector between 1993 and 2019), especially in the field of human rights protection, the environment and the defense of civil organizations. He was a long-term member of the Government Council for Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations (2012–2019). He worked as the director of Greenpeace in Slovakia (2008–2013) and project coordinator of Via Iuris (2016–2019). In the years 2019–2021, he first worked as an advisor to the President (2019–2020) and later to a vice-chairman of the NR SR (2020–2021). Biography Childhood Rizman was born on 1 November 1976. Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant
The Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant (, abbr. EMO) is a nuclear power plant located between the towns of Nitra and Levice, on the site of the former village of Mochovce, Slovakia. Two up-rated 470 MW (originally 440 MW) reactors plus a 471 MW VVER 440 reactor are presently in operation, with a fourth of the same type under commissioning. In 2022 it generated almost 7,000 GWh of electricity, the power plant provided approximately 20% of Slovakia's electricity needs. History A power plant consisting of four VVER 440/V-213 pressurized water reactors was proposed in the 1970s. Vladimír Mečiar
Vladimír Mečiar (; born 26 July 1942) is a Slovak former politician who served as the prime minister of Slovakia from June 1990 to May 1991, June 1992 to March 1994, and again from December 1994 to October 1998. He was the leader of the Movement for a Democratic Slovakia (HZDS), a populist party in Slovakia. Mečiar led Slovakia during the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992–93 and was one of the leading presidential candidates in Slovakia in 1999 and 2004. During his time in office, he was criticized for his autocratic style of governance and connections to organized crime, which became known as ''Mečiarizmus'' ("Mečiarism"). Juraj Šeliga
Juraj Šeliga (born 16 August 1990) is a Slovak politician, activist and lawyer. He served as a Member of the National Council from 2020 until 2023, as well as Deputy Speaker of the council between 2020 and 2021. Early life Born 16 August 1990 Dolný Kubín, Šeliga studied law at the University of Trnava, where he obtained a PhD degree. As a student, Šeliga worked as an aide to the MP Pavel Abrhan.
