Judy Nylon
Judy Nylon (born Judith Anne Niland in 1948) is a multidisciplinary United States, American artist who moved to London in 1970. She was half of the Punk rock, punk rock music group Snatch, which also featured fellow American expat Patti Palladin. She had an influence on glam rock, glam, punk and no wave music in New York City and London, although the bulk of this has not been preserved in any record. ''NME''s Paul Tickell described her LP ''Pal Judy'' (1982), coproduced by Nylon and Adrian Sherwood, as "a classic rainy day bit of sound and song to drift away to." Nylon is the subject of Brian Eno's song "Back in Judy's Jungle" and appeared in the video for the song "China My China", from his 1974 LP ''Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy)''. Discreet Music
''Discreet Music'' is the fourth studio album by Brian Eno, and the first released under his full name (as opposed to simply "''Eno''"). The album is a minimalist work, with the titular A-side consisting of one 30-minute piece featuring synthesizer and tape delay. The B-side features three variations on Canon in D Major by Johann Pachelbel, performed by the Cockpit Ensemble and conducted by Gavin Bryars. While his earlier collaborations with Robert Fripp and several selections from '' Another Green World'' (1975) feature similar ideas, ''Discreet Music'' marked a clear step toward the ambient aesthetic Eno would later codify with 1978's '' Ambient 1: Music for Airports''. Johnny Thunders
John Anthony Genzale (July 15, 1952 – April 23, 1991), known professionally as Johnny Thunders, was an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He came to prominence in the early 1970s as a member of New York Dolls. He later formed the Heartbreakers and played as a solo artist. Early life and career Thunders was born John Anthony Genzale in Queens, New York, the second child of Josephine Genzale (née Nicoletti, 1923–1999) and Emil Genzale (1923–1982), both of Italian descent (Neapolitan/Sicilian). Thunders had an older sister, Mariann (1946–2009). He first lived in East Elmhurst and then Jackson Heights. His first musical performance was in the winter of 1967 with The Reign. ''Even Cowgirls Get the Blues'' is the third live album by Welsh musician John Cale. It was originally released on LP in 1986 and then later reissued on cassette in 1987 with a different cover and drastically altered track listing. In 1991 it was reissued on CD with a third cover design, but with contents identical to the cassette edition. It was recorded in CBGB club in New York between 1978 and 1979 with three former members of Patti Smith Group, bassist Ivan Kral, keyboardist Bruce Brody and drummer Jay Dee Daugherty. The LP version contains different track listing than CD. According to the sleeve notes, the first four tracks were recorded live on 28 December 1978. The other four tracks on 31 December 1979, with "Memphis" from January 1977. The venue for both gigs was CBGB's in New York. However, guitarist Ritchie Fliegler disagrees. Recording and content ''Fear'' is the first of Cale's three studio albums for Island Records, all of which were released in a period of just over a year.
