Joshua Zeman
Joshua Zeman is an American documentary film director, writer and producer. He is best known for his documentaries '' Cropsey'', '' The Killing Season'' and '' Murder Mountain''. He most recently directed and produced The Sons of Sam for Netflix. He is represented by UTA. Education Zeman graduated from Pennsylvania's Lehigh University in 1994. Career Zeman's debut feature documentary, '' Cropsey'', premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2009 and was a Critics' Pick with ''The New York Times'', ''The Wall Street Journal'' and Roger Ebert. In 2011, he directed the short film, ''The Best Man for the Job'', starring David Call. In 2012, he received a MacDowell Colony Fellowship and won the 2013 Djerassi Residency Award from the San Francisco Film Society. Mysterious Skin
''Mysterious Skin'' is a 2004 coming-of-age film written and directed by Gregg Araki, adapted from Scott Heim's 1995 novel of the same name. The film tells the story of two pre-adolescent boys who both experienced sexual abuse as children, and how it affects their lives in different ways into their young adulthood. Long Island Serial Killer
The Long Island serial killer (also referred to as LISK, the Gilgo Beach Killer, the Manorville Butcher, and the Craigslist Ripper) is an unidentified suspected serial killer who is believed to have murdered between 10 and 18 people over a period of nearly 20 years, and to have disposed of their bodies in areas on the South Shore of Long Island, New York. Most of the known victims were sex workers who advertised on Craigslist. The victims' remains were found over a period of months in 2010 and 2011, after the disappearance of Shannan Gilbert resulted in a police search of the area along the Ocean Parkway, near the remote beach towns of Gilgo and Oak Beach in Suffolk County.
