Jorge Garcés
Jorge Luis Garcés Rojas (born 13 May 1954) is a Chilean football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is currently in charge of Juan Fernández Islands team for the 2024 Copa Chile. Manager Garcés was born in Talca. He started his managerial career in 1989 with RFC Arquennes. In 1992, he won the Primera B Championship with Provincial Osorno. Garcés joined Santiago Wanderers in 1999, getting promotion to First Division. In 2001, the team won the First Division championship, qualifying to the Copa Libertadores. Following the resignation of Pedro GarcÃa, manager of Chile national football team in 2001, Garcés was hired by the ANFP to coach the Chilean team, getting two defeats (Brazil 2–0 Chile, Colombia 3–1 Chile) and a draw (Chile 0–0 Ecuador). Talca
Talca () is a city and commune in Chile located about south of Santiago, and is the capital of both Talca Province and Maule Region (7th Region of Chile). Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Club Social y Deportivo San Antonio Unido, usually referred to as SAU is a football club located in the port city of San Antonio, Chile, situated in the ValparaÃso Region. It was founded on July 21, 1961. Its football team currently plays in Segunda División. Club Social de Deportes Rangers is a Chilean football (soccer), football club based in the city of Talca. The club was founded November 2, 1902 and plays in the Chilean Primera División B, second level of the Chilean football system. Club Deportivo Ñublense () is a professional Association football, football team based in Chillán, Ñuble Region, Chile. The club was formed in 1916 under the name of Liceo Fútbol Club.
