Joohoney
Lee Joo-heon (; born October 6, 1994), better known by the stage name Joohoney and formerly mononymously known as Jooheon, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, and producer. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Monsta X under Starship Entertainment. He made his solo debut with the EP '' Lights'' in 2023. Career 2014: Debut and career beginnings Prior to his debut with Monsta X, Joohoney was part of a project group called Nu Boyz, with #Gun, Shownu, and Wonho, formed under Starship Entertainment in August 2014. The quartet uploaded multiple mixtapes on their company's YouTube channel and performed at the opening show of Starship X concert in December 2014. Lights (Joohoney EP)
''Lights'' is the debut extended play by the South Korean rapper Joohoney. It was released by Starship Entertainment and distributed by Kakao Entertainment on May 22, 2023. The EP contains six tracks, including the title track "Freedom". Background and release On April 28, several South Korean news outlets reported that Joohoney will be releasing his first solo album for next month, which was later been confirmed by Starship Entertainment. Lee Ho-seok (, born March 1, 1993), known by his stage name Wonho (), is a South Korean singer under Highline Entertainment. He is a former member of South Korean boy group Monsta X under Starship Entertainment. In 2020, he made his solo debut with the EP '' Love Synonym Pt.1: Right for Me''. Monsta X (; stylized as MONSTA X) is a South Korean boy group formed through the reality survival program ''No.Mercy'' under Starship Entertainment. The group is currently composed of six members: Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M, with former member Wonho having left the group in October 2019. The group debuted with their first EP ''Trespass'' on May 14, 2015. Yoo Ki-hyun (, born November 22, 1993), known mononymously as Kihyun, is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Monsta X under Starship Entertainment. He made his solo debut with the single album '' Voyager'' in 2022, in addition to having recorded numerous original soundtracks for South Korean television dramas. Son Hyun-woo (, born June 18, 1992), known by his stage name Shownu, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actor. He is a member of South Korean boy group Monsta X and its sub-unit Shownu X Hyungwon under Starship Entertainment. Career Early life and pre-debut Shownu was born in Chang-dong, Dobong-gu in Seoul, South Korea on June 18, 1992. He was initially a trainee of JYP Entertainment, for about two years, after winning first place in the JYP auditions in 2009. Shownu auditioned for JYP Entertainment, as it had been the company of the singer Rain, who inspired him to become an idol.
